I’ve decided to stop taking sema. Every week I get a terrible case of GERD and end up throwing up. Has anyone else had this happen? How long did it take for it to go away? I was supposed to take my shot today but I didn’t and I hadn’t had an episode since last wednesday.
I started compound sema on march 3rd. I’ve lost about 6 lbs. I started on 12.5 units and now I’m at 25 units. I’m 4’11” and currently am fluctuating between 135-136 lbs. I’m eating around 1200 calories a day and even that is a struggle sometimes. I’m just frustrated because I thought I would have lost more by now. I’m hesitant to go up to the next dose because of side effects (I basically have no appetite on this current dose so I can’t imagine how I would feel moving up another dose). Any advice? Encouragement? I’ve been trying to lose this damn 30 lbs for 10 years now and nothing is working.
I’m 2 months into taking compound semaglutide. I’ve lost about 8 lbs and overall haven’t really had many side effects. I’ve been taking 25 units for the last month and for the last 2 weeks I’ve been having on and off diarrhea. I also had some sort of stomach bug that developed around that time and I think my gut is just still off from that. I’m thinking I need to add a probiotic supplement but I’m not sure which one. What do you all take and eat to keep your bowel movements normal?
