Digital Extras and the MB app are the worst part of owning a benz
I rarely use the app or the features, but without fail, when I want to use the app I've always been logged out and need to search my email for the pin that I've been assigned. Always when I want to do something quickly like unlock my car or find where I parked. Why do I always get logged out? This is the worst.
I disagree with paying for a subscription for functions that already exist in the vehicle. Not offering a lifetime subscription is horse shit.
Lastly, the app has failed me on numerous occasions. Wouldn't let me remote start because it thought a window was cracked open for about 6 months. Has left me locked out for 30-60 minutes repeatedly even in areas with a strong cell signal. Why isn't my phone just a key? Bluetooth? Something? The need for the key fob is ridiculous at this point.
Basically, fuck the MB app and fuck subscriptions for things you already have.
