Hot take: WW1 and before is the coolest era of milsurp
Wanted to take a photo of my rifles from World War I and before, then it got me thinking that from the creation of the first smokeless repeating rifle to the end of WW1 might be the coolest era of small arms manufacture in my opinion. During this era, brilliant minds were full of imagination when it came to experimenting what works best.

1900 U.S. Model 1898 Krag Jørgensen
Picked this gem of a Krag up just recently for a undeniable price of $600. I’ve been having an itch for US made rifles from World War II and before for a while now, when a fellow redditor notified me of this killer deal, I knew I had to have it. Rifle is very clean and retains all of its markings as well as most of its bluing. As of now the rifle sits nicely with my Springfield collection.
