Our Google Sheets Setup Is Starting to Crack. What CRM Feels Like a Natural Next Step?
We're a tiny team right now, and for a while, Google Sheets honestly did everything we needed.
We kept our important links there, shared documents through Google Drive, talked through Telegram, and somehow managed to keep everything moving.
But lately, I've started noticing the cracks.
Finding the right document takes longer than it should. Tasks get buried in conversations. Someone updates the spreadsheet, someone else misses it. And as we start thinking about growing the business, I'm realizing that the system that got us here probably isn't the system that's going to take us much further.
So I'm looking for a cheap or free CRM with Google Drive integration, but I don't really want a traditional sales machine with a million features.
We're still developing our products, so building an advanced sales pipeline isn't really the priority yet. I almost want something that sits somewhere between Google Sheets, project management software, and a lightweight CRM.
More than anything, I want the transition to feel natural. I don't want to replace our simple setup with something so complicated that everyone quietly goes back to using spreadsheets two weeks later.
Has anyone made this exact jump?
What did you move to when Google Sheets stopped being enough, but a full-blown CRM still felt like too much?
