First 3D printer

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for recommendations for the best enclosed 3D printer under around $1500.

I’m not interested in Bambu Lab printers because of the recent controversies around them, so I’d like to hear about good alternatives.

My priorities are:

Enclosed chamber

Good reliability

Good print quality out of the box

Decent support and spare parts availability

Ability to print materials like PETG, ASA/ABS, and maybe nylon in the future

Preferably not too much tinkering required

Right now I’m considering options like Prusa CORE One, QIDI Plus4, Creality K2 Pro/K2 Plus, Flashforge, or maybe something else I’ve missed.

What would you recommend in this price range, and why? Are there any models I should avoid?
