Can’t fit my new wheel into frame? Did I buy incorrectly??

Currently restoring my Raleigh Gritstone from 1995. First part of the process is a new wheel hub, and 10 speed cassette which I’m trying to pop into the frame but it seems like it’s too long.

I haven’t done this before and I’m worried I’ve bought one that’s too long?? Or the cassette is too big but even then I can’t really see the points where it goes into the frame. Haven’t used a QR in so long I’ve forgotten how to bloody install the simplest things 😂

Really appreciate some advice if possible…
