My "friend" stole my Free Fire account that I gave him to hold for 3 years and now refuses to return it. Need help
Hey guys, I really need help with this and I don't know where else to go so posting here.
So basically I've been playing Free Fire since 2019. Spent a good amount of money on it too — diamonds, top-ups, you know how it goes. The account meant a lot to me, had years of progress on it.
In 2023 I got admission into college through a competitive exam (PAT) and I decided to quit playing so I could properly focus on my studies. Before leaving I gave my account to a close friend — the account was made through Facebook login — just so he could play on it while I was away. I trusted him completely, he was my friend.
Fast forward to now, 3 years later. I asked him to return my ID. And this guy just… refused. Not only that, he used bad words with me when I asked. He's changed the in-game name, removed my phone number and email and changed username also deleted all my original friends, so now I can't even find or identify the account properly.
I'm not going to lie, it genuinely hurts. I gave it to him out of trust, not thinking for even a second that he'd do something like this. And now 3 years of my progress, my money, everything — he's just holding it hostage.
I know account sharing is against ToS but I was just a student trying to focus on exams, I didn't think it would come to this.
