Anne Marie Gallagher Connect to Autism
My wife recently had an assessment for autism with Anne Marie Gallagher from Connect To Autism.
I cannot rate the service more highly.
Anne Marie was kind, considerate and extremely experienced and knowledgeable. She put my wife,
who was extremely anxious immediately at ease, with her communication style and extensive
experience in recognising autism in adults, who have spent their lives learning strategies to mask and
camouflage the extent of their differences.
Her service is set up with a very strong ethical foundation. She offers an assessment in two parts with
the first being 20% of the full cost. In this first part she takes a close look at childhood and discusses
aspects of current situation before making a prediction as to whether with her 20 year experience, she
thinks the person will, following full assessment meet the diagnostic criteria for autism or not. This is a
guess, but a very highly informed and experienced guess. She allows someone to ensure they are
going down the right path before they fully financially commit to the assessment. This level of
consideration for those she provides this service for continued through the whole process.
If you are thinking of having a diagnostic assessment for autism then I know you will not be
disappointed with Anne Marie.
