Anyone very sensitive to meds/EPS side effects experience with Caplyta or other AP's? Any info would really help 🥺
I have a physical condition (Long Covid/MECFS) that makes me really sensitive to medication but I also have bipolar 2 so I need to be medicated. I have depression and mixed depression/hypomania. I just get EPS with meds which forces me to stop - akathisia with Abilify, jerking and parkinsonism with Seroquel and jerks and twitches with Olanzapine.
It really sucks as those are supposed to be low risk ones but I also think a med I was taking with them contributed, however still not wise to go on those. Caplyta seems to currently be the only good option, I just want to hear experiences with people who maybe have similar time with AP's as me. I need an AP and cannot just take mood stabilisers apparently cause of the mixed states.
Any anecdotes, experiences and info would really help as this is all really scary and lonely.
