“”:talking ‘’:thinking Chapter 12:

As day 10 of the tournament rolls around Ninji, Jonny and Jamie leave the hotel. Trying to find anything they can about this triangular symbol Ninji’s been finding around the city and on peoples duel disk. Ninji, Jonny and Jamie get outside, “alright let’s get this started. Jonny you’re gonna take the east wing.” Ninji states. “You got it!” Jonny exclaims as he runs off ‘classic jonny.’ Ninji thinks as he turns to Jamie. “Jamie you take the center. Got it.” Jamie nods as she walks off. ‘Good now let’s get to work’ Ninji walks off down Joey Street. Ninji walks down keeping an eye on everything and everyone until he suddenly gets a notification on his phone. Ninji checks his phone and sees it says “Only one duelist left! And only two challenger groups remain! Ninji and Jonny! Along with Ace and Asuke! What will happen next!” He turn off his phone ‘who’s the last duelist and how have they survived this long.’ He continues walking and turns down Silks Skin Drive. He walks half way through it with only one thought spinning in his head. ‘Who is it! Who is it! Who is it! And what’s that damn symbol!’ Suddenly a person falls from above landing in front of him wearing a red hoodie with a sharpened duel disk “Ninji Hano. I presume?” They step closer glaring their duel disk against Ninji’s chin. “I am so what pal?” He places his duel disk against the duelists moving out the way. ‘What is their motive?’ The person steps back ‘This will be the perfect duel!’ “Get ready to duel Ninji Hano!” The duelist says as he draws his cards. ‘Fine I’ll satisfy his wants if that’s what he needs.’ Ninji draws his hand, “I’ll go first.” Ninji draws “I’ll start by summoning Cyber Tuner in attack then I’ll set one card and end my turn.” ‘I’ll see what deck they’re using first. Then I’ll pick my strategy.’ The duelist draws a card and they take off their hood. A large triangular scar is scarred across his faced. ‘No!’ Ninji backs up ‘yes! Yes!’ The duelist laughs mockingly. “That’s right Ninji Hano! I’m one of them! One of the Duelists of the Forgotten God!” He laughs again. ‘That’s right Ninji Hano I’m a god of this world you can’t win against me!’ “I’m gonna start by summoning Blackwing-Vata the Emblem of Wandering. Then with that I’ll special summon Blackwing-Bora the Spear!” ‘This is it!’ “I synchro summon! Blackwing-Borestorm the Wicked Wind! Now I can special summon Blackwinf-Kris the Crack of Dawn!” “Idiot. You could’ve summoned that before hand.” Ninji states. ‘Oh @&$! he’s right!’ “I know I just wanted to build hype! Now I synchro summon once more! Come on out Blackwing Full Armor Master! Now I attack!” ‘Yes! Yes! Fall Ninji Hano’ Ninji’s life points fall to 6400. Ninji draws a card ‘good, good.’ “I’ll first special summon Cyber Dragon onto my field. Then I activate Cyber Evolution. I’ll swap out my Cyber Dragon with an Ancient Cyber Dragon.” He sends Cyber Dragon to the grave then grabs an Ancient Cyber Dragon from his deck and places it on his duel disk. “Pass turn.” The duelist draws a card ‘only 2900 attack points I’ll win for sure!’ “I’ll summon Blackwing-Sudri the Phantom Glimmer activating its effect! And I’ll grab Blackwing-Sharnga the Waning Moon! And special summon it to the field!” ‘Perfect combo!’ Ninji’s face doesn’t change but he knows what’s coming ‘he’s not ready for my trap card Future Turn.’ “I synchro summon Blackwing Armed Wing! Then with Armor Master I’ll attack your Ancient Cyber Dragon” Blackwing Full Armor Master attacks and as the dust clears only thing Ninji has is a card. “I activate Future Turn. I banish my Ancient Cyber Dragon until next turn.” 

Chapter 13:

‘What! What do you mean! ?&@$!’ “Fine then I’ll just attack directly with Armed Wing!” Ninji’s life points drop to 4100. Ninji draws “I’ll activate Holy Cyber Fusion. I fuse the three Holy Cyber Dragons from my hand to fusion summon Cyber Dragon Divinity.” Ninji grabs the card from his forearm holster and places it on the duel disk. A massive pure white and gold dragon rises. “Now I attack your Armed Wing with Cyber Dragon Divinity.” With Cyber Dragon Divinity’s 10,000 attack and Blackwing Armed Wings 2,300 attack causes the duelist to loose ‘No! NO! NO NO NO NO NO!’The duelist gets so mad he rushes forward, and cuts Ninji’s wrist and stabs his arm with directly hits Ninji’s bone breaking his Radius and Ulna. Ninji screams in pain as he stabs the duelist in the gut in response as blood pools beneath them and the both fall to their knees. The duelists passes out from pain. Ninji slowly pulls the duelists duel disk out of his arm as he gets up. Ninji runs to the Blue Ring hospital. He stumbles inside finding only two people ‘what’s going o- Wait I haven’t actually seen really anyone have I? No I haven’t.’ He stumbles towards two nurses in the room lobby. “Hey could one of you help?” The nurses turn to look at him and both of them rush to help him as he sits down and lets them work on his arm. Ninji passes out from the pain for 3 hours. When he re-awakes he finds his arm in a cast and his arm stitched but the pain is still very bad. So one of the nurses gives him some pain medication. “Are you okay? What happened?” The nurse asks. “I got into a bad duel and things didn’t go so well.” ‘@&?$ it hurts so bad and what’s with that nurses look?’ The other nurse pulls out a duel disk, “Ninji Hano. I challenge you to a duel. I’m Asuke.” Ninji gets up and takes a step back as he grabs his duel disk and gives it to the other nurse. ‘Whatever I don’t have time to waste.’ “What do you want me to do?” The nurse asks. “Duel for me.” Ninji states, “please I can’t.” The nurse nods as they begin, but let’s visit Jonny. Jonny was walking around the streets of the city not really caring about anything. ‘God I’m so bored. Hell, where is everyone?’ Suddenly he hears a car coming and moves to the sidewalk as a jeep pulls up beside him. The window rolls down as a man with short choppy red hair. “Hey! Jonny hop in! Let’s go find some duels!” Jonny hops into the car, “What’s up Mason! I’m glad you came it’s been so boring!” Jonny and Mason drive around talking and laughing as they find not a single person at all. “Hey Jonny wants that symbol?” Mason points to a triangular symbol on a building wall. “No idea. I have seen it before though. Only from Ninji’s drawings from seeing it.” Mason nods as they keep driving. After 30 minutes of driving they eventually decide to go find Ninji. Now not everyone’s having a good time however. Because Jamie was walking around the towers in the center of the tower but when she stops in front of the Red Tower a challenger walks out. “Well hey there.” The challenger known as Ace gives a small wave. “Oh hey you’re Ace right?” Ace nods “yep that’s me. So what’s a cutie like you doing around here?” He grabs her chin and tilts her head up. Jamie shakes slightly “I’m just running around looking for people that have a triangular mark.” She backs up. Ace grabs her wrist, “where you going sugar? You’re not leaving are you? Because I’m not gonna let you do that.” He pins her to the wall ‘no no no. I have to escape this.’ Ace suddenly removes his duel disk and grabs her tossing it away. “Mother &@?&^%!” Jamie kicks Ace’s groin causing him to fall as Jamie rushes to grab her duel disk and kicks his side and keeps kick and stepping on him until she eventually stops and runs away. And after 12 minutes of running she finds the triangular symbol on an alley wall and she goes to investigate. She finds it’s fresh paint meaning the person is still nearby. She runs around for 30 minutes eventually leaving the center of the city and stumbling into the Blue Ring hospital finding the duel between Asuke and Ninji finishing with a winning landslide from Ninji. Ninji sits down as the nurse sits next to him, “Ninji!”

Jamie runs to his side holding him close, “hey Jamie what’s up. “I found Ace but he was a creep and I ran!” Jamie notices Ninji’s arm “oh my go what happened to you!” She  checks on his arm ‘damnit.” Ninji grits his teeth, “please be careful it’s still fresh.” 

Chapter 14:

Jamie nods as he wraps her arms around his shoulders. Eventually an announcement is made blasting from around the city, “NINJI HANK AND JONNY KEY HAVE WON THE TOURNAMENT!! PLEASE GET TO THE TOP OF THE PURPLE TOWER AND GET IN THE HELICOPTER TO GO BACK TO YOUR SCHOOL!!” Jonny and Mason stop and Jonny gets out and starts running away towards the purple tower. “I’ll meet you back at the city! Bye!” Jonny shouts as they wave goodbye. Ninji runs towards the tower as the nurse follows along with Jamie. “Hey wait! Ninji your arm!” The nurse shouts following behind him as he keeps running. Eventually everyone reaches the Purple Tower and walks in getting in the elevator. Along the way both Jonny and Ninji talk about what happened while they were separate. They reach the top floor and find the helicopter there with Mrs. Nine standing there waiting for them. “Hello students and friends you are all welcome to come back to the school and we’ll be treated.” They get in the helicopter and head back to the school. They arrive 15 minutes later on the top of the school with Akira waiting there for them but no Binjy in sight. Akira rushes forward and hugs Jonny and Ninji in sight hugging them tightly. “I’ve missed you both so much.” “Why didn’t you call at all Akira?” Jonny asks. ‘That’s a good question I wonder what’s up?’ Ninji pulls back to stare at her. “So what’s up with that?” Mrs. Nine interjects, “we don’t know for some reason we can’t get any signal or contact anyone not even the police.” Ninji nods, “We’ll try to figure out what’s wrong. Right Jonny?” “Yeah we’ll always find out what’s wrong!” Jonny says with his usual bright smile. After an hour of getting settled back in. Jonny and Ninji sit in their shared dorm trying to figure out what the triangular symbol is. But they can’t find anything, “bro what could this be? It’s so stupid! Apparently the group is called ‘The Duelists of the Forgotten God’ it’s so weird.” Jonny nods until he stumbles upon something “hey look at this. It’s says the symbol is from an ancient summoning ritual to summon ‘some god’. It’s so weird.” Ninji nods and reads the page, “it’s so weird.” ‘I wonder what is going on.’ That night as Ninji lays in the bottom bunk with Jonny on the top bunk, he thinks of the symbol until he sees it part of the symbol is on the Cyber Dragon Divinity card but he’ll just mention it tomorrow. The next morning Ninji mentions his finding to everyone. “Really? That’s very interesting I wonder why.” Everyone nods to Jamie’s statement. “Wait what if the ‘forgotten god’ has the symbol on it somewhere?” Ninji nods to what Jonny said, “Could be but it’s a leap we’ll see when we take them down.” They all finish up breakfast and get ready to investigate the school ground to see what is causing the signal jam.

Chapter 15:

Ninji splits up with the others taking the nurse with him. They walk through the schools halls as the bell rings for school to start, but don’t go to class because they need to find the control center. Ninji and the nurse walk sneak around the school avoiding teachers and staff as the reach the basement. They walk down the stairs but when they reach the bottom they find Binjy waiting down there with paint? Binjy has drawn the strange triangular symbol on the power box. “Binjy what are you doing?” ‘He’s one of them. This isn’t how I wanted my return home to go.’ Binjy tries to walk past him but Ninji grabs his collar and pulls him back. “You’re not leaving til you answer some questions!” Ninji’s face shows nothing but pure rage towards Binjy. “First of all what is this symbol?! And what do you have to do with it?!” Binjy stays silent before speaking, “I’m part of the Duelists of the Forgotten God. I’m here to destroy the school and reawaken this god.” Ninji notices something’s off ‘this isn’t Binjy or at least not his personality.’ “You’re not Binjy are you?” Binjy smirks before chuckling ‘of course he knows. Why wouldn’t he.’ “Very good Ninji Hano. I knew you’d find out easily!” He lets out a loud laugh as Ninji tries to punch him with his good arm but Binjy dodges and punches his stomach causing Ninji to collapse to the floor. “I’m an old duelist that has been revived into this boys body. My names Mazkif Juno. And I’ve come to stop you from beating the boss.” Mazkif walks back up to the main floor. Ninji stands shakily as he grabs a towel and tries to wipe off the paint but it’s already dry. Ninji grabs a nearby hammer and uses the back to pry open the power box. Ninji checks the power box but finds everything normal no switches off nothing broken. As he closes the box and heads back up to the main floor. The nurses follows closely still shaken by the confrontation ‘he’s gotta be hurting but he keeps moving I wonder why.’ Eventually Ninji takes a seat in the halls and takes off his cast  so his arm and rest in his lap. The nurse sits next to him, “let me see your arm.” Ninji holds out his arm as she gently apply’s some numbing ointment. ‘Thank god’ Ninji relaxes as after a minute she finishes. “Wait I haven’t told you my name. I’m Jacky.” She hold out her hand, “Ninji.” Ninji shakes her hand. Ninji puts his cast back on and keeps walking around followed by Jacky. 

Chapter 16:

Upstairs however Jonny and Jamie run into Binjy during their search. The notice Binjy’s bruised knuckle, “hey Binjy what’s up?!” Jonny shouts, but Binjy just keeps walking. “Hey Binjy! Wait up!” They run after him but when they turn the corner he’s just gone no where in sight. “Jonny get to class!” Mrs. Nine shouts from down the hall, “ah! Yes ma’am!” Jonny runs to his class followed by Jamie. And in class the duel teacher Mr. Jacks calls them both up for being late, “Jonny and Jamie come to the front of the class and have a duel right here right now.” ‘Oh &!$&!’ Jonny complains in his head as he walks to the front with Jamie as they get ready to duel. Both draw their hands and get ready “I’ll make the first move!” Jonny draws a card “I’ll first discard Maiden if White to place one True Light face up on my field!” Jonny discards Maiden of White and places True Light face up. “Now I’ll discard one card to activate The Melody of Awakening Dragon! And I’ll add Blue Eyes White Dragon and Blue Eyes Alternative White Dragon!” Jonny shuffles his deck, “then I’ll activate Alternative White Dragons effect allowing me special summon it as long as I reveal one Blue Eyes White Dragons from my hand!” Jonny places the card on his duel disk, “Then I’ll special summon Blue Eyes White Dragon using one of True Lights effects!” ‘One of its effects it has more than one!’ Jamie checks her hand as Jonny continues, “then I’ll xyz summon Thunder End D! I set one card and end turn.” ‘Good start for the Johnster.’ Jamie draws a card, “I’ll activate Fusion Deployment. And I’ll reveal Albion the Branded Dragon. Allowing me to special summon Fallen of Albaz from my deck.” Jamie shuffles her deck, “then I’ll summon  Aluber the Jester of Despia. Allowing me to add one branded spell or trap to my hand.” ‘Oh no! I’m screwed!’ Jonny panics, “I’ll add branded fusion from my deck to my hand. Then I’ll activate Branded Fusion to fusion summon Albion the Branded Dragon. I’ll activate Albion’s ability allowing me to vanish one monster from my hand and the two monsters from my grab to fusion summon! the Dragon that Devours the Dogma!” Jonny laughs, “I activate Thunder Ends Ds effect allowing me to remove one material and destroy all other monsters on the field!” ‘No!’ Jamie knows she’s lost and ends her turn. Jonny draws a card, “I’ll activate True Lights effect and add one card that mentions Blue Eyes White Dragon from my deck to my hand! I add Roar of the Blue-Eyed Dragons to my hand!” Jonny shuffles his deck before he activates the card, “I’ll activate Roar of the Blue-Eyed Dragon allowing me to special summon a Blue Eyes White Dragon from my deck to hand! Then attack directly with End D!” Jamie’s life points fall to 1000. Jamie draws a card and ends her turn ‘I’ve lost I can’t win at all.’ Jonny draws, “I activate True Light to special summon Blue Eyes White Dragon from my hand and attack directly with all my monsters! Jamie looses the duel and puts shakes hands with Jonny. “Perfect! Marvelous! What a great duel!” Mr. Jacks shouts out as he claps, “what a perfect duel my eyes were able to capture! You can just skip class for today!” Jamie and Jonny high five “yes!” Jonny leaves along with Jamie.

Chapter 17:

When they all meet up again they take a seat in the cafeteria and talk about Binjy. “Binjy was drawing that weird symbol on the power box but nothing was off so I don’t know why the signals jammed.” Ninji states as Jamie sits next to him wrapping her arms around his shoulders tightly. “I know when me and Jamie saw him he just walked off, and vanished as we turned the corner.” Ninji nods along ‘I should tell Jonny.’ Ninji glances at Jacky. Jack shakes her head and mouths ‘no’. Ninji nods and stays silent. “We need to investigate around the outside the school out towards the city.” Jonny nods “we should. How about we each take a small section.” Ninji nods and creates a plan where Jonny takes the northern quarter, Jamie takes the western quarter, Jacky takes the southern quarter and Ninji takes the eastern quarter. They all agree and leave the school splitting up. Let’s start with Ninji. Ninji splits up and heads east checking corners back alleys anywhere for any symbols, cards or Binjy but comes up with nothing, and decides climb up onto a building and takes a look around. Ninji sees a figure on another roof and decides to head over. Ninji climbs down the building and up the other and finds them gone. Ninji looks down and finds the person running and ninji jumps down and chases the person. Let’s head to Jonny. Jonny splits from the group and as he’s running around asking people, and looking for symbols or Binjy. He finds a man spray painting the symbol on a wall, “hey you!” Jonny runs at the person and person runs dropping the spray can. “Get back here!” Jonny tries to tackle the person but misses and hits the ground, but quickly gets up and continues chasing. Now to Jacky, Jacky splits up from the group, and looks around asking people around but finds nothing and decides to head back. She finds a person drawing the triangular symbol on the school wall with red paint. “Hey you there stop that!” The person bolts and she follows close behind. Jamie however when she splits from the group comes across a small boy whose cards were ripped and crumpled. “Hey kid what happened.” She kneels down placing a hand on his back, “a mean man in a hood came and destroyed my cards.” The kid cry’s harder. “Could you point me in the direction they went?” The kid points and she runs after the person turning a corner and find a woman there drawing the symbol on the wall. Jamie runs at her and she runs like the others.

Chapter 18:

As each person is chasing one of the Duelists they all reach an intersecting point the duelist vanish. As everyone now stands in the center of the intersection. “Where did they go?” Ninji asks noticing the red triangular symbol on the floor glowing. The scene shifts to one of a figure sitting in a chair watching the scene unfold from cameras he’s set up. “Good, good. Just want I wanted.” One of the duelists that was being chased walks into the room. “Sir, it’s ready.” The person nods “good. I’ll activate it in a month. Make sure it’s known Saggith.” Saggith nods and rushes out. Ninji, Jonny, Jack and Jamie all walk back to school just as it becomes noon, and break period begins. They all walk into Jonny and Ninji’s dorm to prepare. Ninji sits down in his bunk and Jamie jumps in and moves behind him leaning against him. “Why was that one glowing? Why? Why? Why? It’s so stupid.” Jonny nods, “he’s right it is weird because no other symbol was glowing.” Suddenly there’s a knock at the door, “come in!” Ninji says as he scrolls on his phone looking for anything about the symbol. Akira walks in “hey Kiki!” Jonny says waving. Akira waves back shyly as she sits down on the bed, “Hey Akira do you know anything about this symbol?” Ninji shows her the symbol and she nods, “wait really! Tell us everything!” Jonny says as Akira flinches but she manages to speak, “I’ve seen it around the school and it won’t come off. Even if we paint over it, it just comes back. It’s been a few weeks since they started appearing.” Ninji nods, “thank you for the information Akira.” Akira nods a small smile on her face as she gets up and leaves. Eventually after 40 minutes of research the bell rings and they all head off to class for the rest of the day. The next day at around 12:30 they draw a map of the school and where each of the symbols are even started to go out towards the city to try and make connections. “Hey look at this. They kinda make a triangle… oh my god they make a triangle!” Jacky points out. Ninji nods noting this as they keep mapping though that was short live when after only 3 minutes a loud crash is heard, and Saggith walks in and tosses a letter at them before walking away and vanishing around a corner. Ninji opens the note, “you have a month to stop me before I summon the Forgotten One.” Everyone looks shocked except Ninji, “hey Ninji what’s up?” “I thought this was the case. It would make sense but there’s 4 god cards I thought. Or well great god cards almost guarantees victory.” Ninji states putting the note in his pocket as Akira walks over, “I’ve heard of a duelist at this school that holds one of them. Their name is Podet Goldsworth.  He uses a gold deck.” Ninji nods, “then I’l-.”“no. You’re not dueling.” Jacky interjects “I’ll duel. And don’t worry I won’t loose. I promise.” Ninji nods, “okay.”

Chapter 19:

“Where can we find Podet?” Ninji asks. “In the courtyard.” Akira responds. Ninjis nods as he gets up and starts heading there. Everyone else follows closely as Jonny rolls up the map and puts it in his bag. They reach the courtyard and find a man in a pure golden suit with golden sunglasses. “Podet! We challenges you to a duel for your Three Headed Golden Dragon card!” Ninji shouts as he walks closer as Podet turns towards him and smirks. “Are you gonna battle? Disanji is that your name? No it’s Ninji that’s right!” Podet says mockingly as Ninji steps closer and grabs his collar. “You will duel us for the card. Do I make myself clear Podet.” Ninji stares into his eyes as Podet trembles slightly taken aback by Ninji’s lack of emotion. “Y-yeah. I got you pal don’t worry I’ll duel. But who though?” Ninji lets him go and steps back. He then points to Jacky, “her.” He says flatly as he steps back letting Jacky take center stage. “Alright! You got it let’s get this show on the road!” Pedot and Jacky draw their hands. “I’ll go first!” Pedot says as he draws a card, “I’ll start this duel by setting three cards and activating Golden Fire Ball! You take 500 damage!” Jacky’s life points drop to 3500. Jacky draws a card, “I’ll go ahead and activate Rain of Mercy so we both gain 1000 life points.” Podet’s life points increase to 5000 while Jacky’s increase to 4500, “You idiot! Giving me life points!” Podet laughs mockingly, “I set two cards and summon Dragon Nurse to my field and equipping it with Butterfly Dagger-Elma. So now my Dragon Nurse’s attack points increase to 1900. Now I attack you- no I’ll hold off for a bit.” Jacky ends her turn. Ninji whispers over to Jonny, “lock your bag and keep the key in your mouth.” Jonny nods and locks his bag putting the key in his mouth. Podet draws a card, “before you do anything I activate two Solemn Wishes.” Podet grits his teeth, “I set one card and end my turn.” Jacky draws and gains 1000 life points increasing her life points to 5500. “I activate shrine of health. Now I attack you directly.” “Fool I activate two face downs! Pit of Greed and Mirror Force destroying your monster and although you draw 4 cards! You take 800 damage!” Jacky gets her Butterfly Dagger back but also gains 200 life points. “What how!” “Thanks to Shrine of Health! I gain 1000 life points every time a light monster gets destroyed!” Jacky gains another 1000 life points that’s to Solemn Wishes. Podet draws a card, “I set one card and end my turn.” ‘Thanks to my two negate attacks victory is assured!’ Podet thinks looking at his field. Jacky draws a card and he life points increase by 1000 again, “I summon Healing Slime in defense and activate Blue Medicine.” Jacky’s life points rise to 6900, “end turn.” Jacky’s life points rise thanks to Healing Slime her life points increase to 7300 but decrease to keep Shrine of Health on the field. She now has 8100 life points. Podet draws a card, “I summon Golden Phantom. Then I’ll discard one card to attack directly.” Jacky’s life points go down to 6500. Jacky draws a card and her life points rise once more by 1000 now at 7500.

Chapter 20:

“I’ll summon Dragon Nurse to my field. Then I’ll attack.” Podet activates another Negate Attack, “I negate.” He says as her turn ends and she looses 200 life points(7300LP). Podet(5000LP) draws, “I set one card and end turn.” Jacky draws and he life points increase(8300), “I activate Butterfly Dagger-Elma and equip it to Dragon Nurse.” “I activate Dust Tornado and destroy it!” Podet replies as Jacky adds it to her hand. “I attack you directly-“ “I activate Mirror Force!” Podet interjects destroying Jacky’s Dragon Nurse card but she gains 1000 life points thanks to Shrine of Health. Jacky ends her turn losing 200 life points(9100), “can I forfeit the duel. Please.” Ninji nods and walks over holding out his hand, “give me the cards.” Podet hands over three Golden Dragons, and Zyglos, the Three Headed Golden Dragon. Pedot then leaves the courtyard as Ninji puts the cards away and Zyglos in his forearm case. As he smells something off… gas. As he notices he’s feeling very wheezy and he notices people around the courtyard are asleep. “Jonny! Get *cough* inside now! There’s *cough* gas!” Jonny tries to rush inside but passes out quickly after. Ninji’s vision gets blurry as he sees everyone else pass out. He also notices 4 people walking into the courtyard 3 guys 1 women all wearing gas mask. He notices one of them has similar hair to the guy that dropped off the letter earlier that day. But as he reaches out he falls unconscious. After what felt like hours Ninji wakes up in the courtyard with all his god cards, and everything needed to summon them gone. He sits up, and notices everyone else is still passed out. He gets up and checks on everyone else waking them up. “Jonny! Jonny! Get up!” Jonny wakes up groggy, “is the key still there?!” Jonny opens his mouth and spits out the key. Ninji’s vision gets grabs it and opens his bag with the map still there, “oh thank god.” He relaxes and lays back as Jamie crawls over, “are you okay?” She asks worried. Ninji nods and leans against her. Jamie wraps her arms around him holding him close. After about 30 minutes of recovering Jacky states that it was probably Desflurane. They woke eventually get up as sirens are heard at the front of the school as policemen storm the school. Ninji, Jonny, Jamie and Jacky all get taken away, and stuffed into police cars. They then get taken to the police station. And into interrogation rooms.

Chapter 21:

A detective walks into the interrogation room “Alright kid we need to know everything that happened during this “battle tournament”. And don’t skip anything.” Ninji nods and begins explaining. When Ninji mentions the triangular the detective stops him. “Hold that there symbol? Can you draw it out?” Ninji nods and draws it out. The detective takes it, “I knew it. Kid what do you know about this symbol?” Ninji explains how he encountered them and who and what they were attached to. “Kid or Ninji can I call you that?” Ninji nods, “ok so I want you to describe this man. The one that gave you that message.” Ninji describes a tall man in a suit with a coat around his shoulders, and spiky fire like hair and a Van Dyke. The detective nods before walking out. After a few minutes a police officer walks in, “hey kid you’re free to go.” Ninji gets up and walks to the front of the station grabbing his things, and meeting up with the others. “Ninji!” Jamie runs over and jumps into Ninji’s arms. “I’m okay Jamie calm down.” Jamie climbs off and grabs Ninji’s hand, “let’s get back to the school and figure this out.” “Not so fast.” The detective intervenes, “detective Vine what do you need?” “I- wait how do you know my name I’m not wearing my badge?” Ninji points to his shirt that’s has Vine Graydon on it, “oh. Well anywho I need you for to keep us notified about these symbols, or any new events. Got it?” They all nod and leave getting in a blacked out car leaving the police station. The car ride home they all stay silent. 20 minutes pass by and they arrive at the school. They all get out the car and start walking up to the school as the car drives off. They enter the school and find even more symbols around the school as all the students and teachers snap towards them with glowing red eyes and symbols placed on their chests. They all start walking towards them, “join us.” They all say on repeat as they approach. Ninji runs through the crowd dodging and weaving until he gets to his dorm and goes inside grabbing his computer and bag before running back out. He takes the others and leaves the school heading inward towards the city. They arrive at a hotel and get a room, “one room for uhh, 4 weeks.” The receptionists nods and types something in, “that’ll be 143.79.” Jonny steps forward and hands her his card paying for the room. They all head up to their room and prepare for what ever comes next.

Book 1

Chapter 1:

Ninji Hano walks towards the doors of the schools master arena leaning back while walking with a smirk on his face as people cheer and call out his name as binjy one of his friends and the top duelist at the school waits for him as binjy says “ready to beat these punks again” with a smirk on his face as ninji responds with “you know it!” That then give he each other an encouraging fist bump as they walk in talking about strategy’s and they split to enter their preparation rooms but before ninji can enter his room Jonny runs up to him “ninji! Ninji!” Hey then slaps his back “Jonny! My man how’s it been” they dap up and that slides into a fist bump then Jonny says “great! I just came wish you luck not that you’ll need it!” Ninji wraps his arm around Jonny’s neck and gives him a noogie “you almost made it though! You can’t lie about that! You made 5th place on the charts that’s great dude!” As him and Jonny laugh then reaches into his sleeve “whatcha got there?” Jonny asks as ninji pulls out a Thunder End D card and hands it to Jonny “here you’ll need this” ninji says as Jonny exclaims “hey! I’ve been looking for that! You jerk!” Ninji then walks into his preparation room and the doors shut behind him as Jonny runs off and in the preparation room he looks in the mirror as he reflection has a neutral expression even while he has a smirk as his reflection speaks “you know what to do I get the first match then you can face binjy.” Yeah yeah. Don’t worry about it!” Ninji responds “I know what to do Yaku!” His reflection returns to normal as yaku responds in his head “I feeling binjy’s hiding something though be careful.” but before ninji can respond over the speaks “round 2! Ninji V.S. Aku!” Ninji walks out through a separate set of doors out to the  arena and instantly sees Jonny and Binjy in the stands watching as Jonny yells “go Ninji!”as his smirk slowly dissipates into a serious expression as his left eye gains a blue tint as he readies for to duel drawing his hand along with Anu “DUEL!” They shout as the same time “I’ll go first.” Yaku says as he draws and looks at his hand having cyber revival, cyber dragon, try and fail, cyber tuner, cyber revival, and cybernetic boost “I set two cards face down and summon cyber tuner in attack mode. Pass turn” he sets try and fail and cybernetic boost as Anu draws “first I’ll special summon Crimson Resonator since I control no monsters. After I’ll summon Danger! Chupacabra! And tune them together to synchronize summon Red Rising Dragon. Activating its effect to special summon Crimson Resonator from my graveyard. Then I’ll tune them together to synchro summon Red Dragon Archfiend. After which I’ll activate monster reborn to bring back Crimson Resonator from the grave. To which I’ll tune once more to synchro Summon Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Bane. I set one card then attack with Bane!” As his monster attacks he activates his effect “Since you’ve taken damage I can now Special summon Crimson Resonator from my graveyard!” But as the dust clears and Yakus life points drop to 2100 though both Anu and Ninjis monsters are gone as Yaku reveals his trap card try and fail “I negate your monsters effect and destroy but in return I can’t attack next turn.” Yakus tone his flat and emotionless “my turn I draw.” He looks at his hand cyber dragon, cyber revival and future turn “I’ll activate cyber revival to revive cyber tuner to my field.  I set one card.” “My move!” Anu draws a card “I set one monster and 1 card face down pass turn!” Yaku draws a card “I’ll start by activate Future Turn and banish my Cyber Tuner for 4 turns into the future. Now I’ll special summon Cyber Dragon from my hand since I control no monsters while you do. I attack your face down monster.” Yaku destroys Absolute King Back Jack and his turn ends “draw..” Anu says with a slight tremor in his voice “I’ll set one monster… pass turn…” Yaku draws a card “I’ll activate cyber evolution allowing me to tribute my Cyber Dragon, and summon Ancient Cyber Dragon “I attack your face down monster” Yaku destroys Phantom King Hydride and his turn ends as Anu draws a card “end turn…” he’s slightly shaking “draw.” Ninji draws a card “I attack you directly” dropping Anu’s life points to 1100 and Anu draws a card and ends his turn directly after and Yaku draws “I attack directly for game” Anus life points drop to 0 as Jonny yells “HELL YEAH! GO NINJ-“ one of Ninjis friends Akizu punches him in the face “WILL YOU SHUT UP!!! You’ve done nothing but fanboy all duel!” Jonny reply’s with “@&$# You!” “JONNY!!” The principal shouts from behind him “we don’t say things like that! You’re lucky I’m in a good mood or I’d drag to my office and have you suspended!” I’m sorry Mrs nine!” Jonny says bowing down as Ninji laughs loudly from below “Don’t worry about Mrs Nine he’s just excited!” Ninji heads back to his preparation room and Yaku speaks again “you need to be careful something’s off with him his deck feels evil” I know I sensed it too.” Ninji says his voice flat unusual for him “keep and eye out” Yaku leaves with that warning as the speak blares again “Final round Ninji V.S. Binjy!!”

Chapter 2:

Ninji heads out towards the courtyard as Yaku speaks in Ninji’s head “be careful.” Ninji nods and enters the courtyard putting on a smirk to cover his doubts “Hey Binjy! Ready to duel!” Binjy just nods in response and as the battle begins “duel!” Both draw their hands “I’ll go first.” Binjy states as he draws a card “Righty O’!” Ninji responds with “first I’ll summon Light Dragon in attack mode then I’ll set two cards.” “My turn I draw!” Ninji draws a card “first I’ll special summon Cyber Dragon in attack mode then I set one card!” Ninji sets future turn “then I’ll summon baby cyber dragon in attack mode!” Ninji analyzes the field “End turn!” Benjy draws a card “I’ll start by summoning drowning dragon in attack mode. Then I activate ring six here-“ “Not so fast I activate future turn sacking 300 life points and banish it for 1 turn!” Ninji interrupts and Binjy clenches his fist “fine, end turn.” “My turn I draw!” Ninji draws then looks at his hand having Cyber Dragon, Young Cyber Dragon, Ancient Cyber Dragon, and Cyber Evolution “I summon Young Cyber Dragon! Then I activate Cyber Evolution to which I’ll evolve Young Cyber Dragon into cyber dragon from my hand and Cyber Dragon into Ancient Cyber Dragon and Baby Cyber into Young Cyber Dragon from my deck!” Now he has no cards in his hand “now I attack you with my monsters! My Ancient Dragon will attack your Drowning Dragons and my Cyber Dragon will attack your Light Dragon!” Binjy’s life points drop to 2400 and Ninji has 3700 life points. Binjy starts his turn and draws a card “and as per your card effect I now get my card back.” He places Ring Six Heresy into his hand “I set one card and end my turn” Ninji draws a card “I attack directly with all my monsters!” “Not so fast” Binjy interrupts “I use Ring Six Heresy to banish all monsters for 2 turns.” Ninji grits his teeth but ends his turn “draw.” Benji draws a card. “I pass turn.” Ninji draws “I’ll start by summoning Cyber Tuner in attack mode then I attack you directly!” Binjy’s life points drop to 1000 and Binjy draws a card “no… no… no. No no no no no! I can’t loose!” Ninji takes a step back “woah Binjy are you okay?” From the stands Jonny whispers to himself “what’s going on down there..?” He turns to Akizu “I don’t know but something is very wrong.” Binjy drops his cards “just go.” Ninji draws a card. “O-okay I’ll just attack and end it.” Binjy gathers his cards and stands up as Yaku speaks in Ninji’s head “he’s stuck” before Ninji can respond Benji says “I quit this tournament find some other person to join you.” He starts walking back inside as Ninji runs and grabs Binjy’s shoulder “are you okay?” Benji shrugs him off “just leave me be.” “No.” Ninji argues “no I will no-“ Binjy suddenly punches him in the face as gasps and murmurs erupt from the crowd as Ninji gets knocked back as Binjy walks inside the Mrs. Nine shouts out “Binjy we don’t tolerate this behavior go to my office now!” As Ninji wipes blood from his nose as the speaker Blair’s “well guess you’ll have to pick someone else!” Ninji nods “I pick Jonny” the crowd goes silent “Let’s Go!” Jonny yells as he runs down the stairs but trips and falls as the crowd ohhhs as Jonny sticks out a thumbs up “I’m good!” Then Ninji shouts “Meet you on the roof Jonny!” Jonny runs back up the stairs and into the walking area heading towards and elevator as Ninji heads into his preparation room

Chapter 3:

Ninji leaves his preparation room he heads to the elevator and when he gets there he finds Akizu there waiting for him “Hey Ninji I know this a yearly thing but now the tournament lasts twice as long I just… I wish you good luck!” She kisses his cheek and runs off as Ninji is left stunned for a moment before Yaku speaks with a smirk on his face “don’t wanna leave Jonny waiting do you?” Ninji snaps back and gets in the elevator heading to the roof and after a minute of waiting her reaches the roof where Jonny is standing by a helicopter waving with a huge grin “NINJI COME ON I DONT WANNA BE LATE!!” Ninji jogs over with a smirk “yeah yeah let’s go man!” He pats Jonny’s back as the get in and settle down buckling up and getting ready “Ninji look at my new duel disk!” he shows him a slick solve duel disk with light blue highlights “Nice it matches your Blue Eyes deck!” “I know right!” Jonny puts on his duel disk and looks through his deck as they both begin editing and fixes each others decks until after 10 minutes the arrive at the arena and 3 other helicopters holding two people each land together and everyone steps out and all meet in the center before all the helicopters fly off as the speak blares “EVERYONE READY THIS YEARS TWO WEEK TOURNAMENT!!!” The crowd erupts in cheers “RULES ARE SIMPLE EACH TEAM OF TWO PLAYERS SHARE 8000 LIFE POINTS!! AND IF ONE TEAM MEMBER LOOSES BOTH LOOSE!! THIS AND THERE ARE 20 OTHER NON TOURNAMENT CHALLENGERS HERE TOO TRYING TO TAKE YOU DOWN!! AND THIS IS STILL AN ACTIVE CITY YOUR COMPETING IN SO BE WARRY OF OTHER PEOPLE!!! NOW EACH TEAM HEAD TO YOUR DESIGNATED ROOMS TO PREPARE THEN MEET BACK HERE IN 10!!” Some of the challengers scoff others stay silent as they all head into their designated rooms. As Jonny and Ninji are sitting across each other practicing and learning “So Jonny when you special summon Blue Eyes Abyss dragon, you get to grab a ritual or a fusion card from your deck. And since you have Neo Kaiser Sea Horse and Blue Eyes White Dragon in you hand you should grab Ultimate Fusion. To fuse them and summon Blue Eyes Tyrant Dragon” as Jonny’s about to reply the speakers blare once more “CHALLENGERS REPORT TO THE ARENA AT ONCE!!” Jonny and Ninji gather their cards and duel disks and re-enter the arena as 8 helicopters are waiting 1 for each person “ALRIGHT EVERYONE!! EACH OF GET INTO ONE HELICOPTER AND GET DROPPED OFF IN A RANDOM AREA JN THE CITY!!” Ninji and Jonny part ways and Ninji enters his helicopter and after 5 minutes get dropped off in a plaza. As soon as he steps out the helicopter it leaves and he’s left to find a challenger or duelist. “Hey you there!” A voice shouts out. Ninji turns around and finds a man with spikey hair and a red ripped open shirt standing there with a black and red duel disk “you’re a duelist aren’t you?!” “I am so let’s duel!” The duelist shouts out as they boat draw their hand “I’ll go first! Also the names Arlo!”

Chapter 4:

At the same time Jonny lands in a back street and as he steps out of the helicopter it leaves and a voice calls out deep and calm “hey kid let’s duel.” Jonny turns around to find a masked figure with a purple and really dark blue duel disk “You’re on!” Jonny says as they begin. “I’ll go first by the way my names Cline!” “Nice to meet ya cline” Jonny replies “first I’ll start by activated dark magic circle! And I’ll add dark magician to my hand! Then I’ll set one card and one monster!” “My turn I draw!” Jonny draws “I’ll begin by I’ll start by summoning Sage with eyes of blue in defense allowing me to add one level one tuner to my hand.” Jonny searches his deck and chooses “I pick maiden of white to my hand! Then I’ll discard her in order to place one true light directly to my field!” Jonny looks through his deck and grab a true light placing it down as a giant old stone tablet arises with a blue eyes white dragon on it “then I’ll activate the The Melody of Awakening Dragon!” As he does a melody begins to play “To which I discard one card and grab one Blue Eyes White Dragon and one Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon! Now I activate Alternative white Dragons effect to reveal my Blue Eyes White Dragon from my hand and special summon it onto the field in attack mode!” A large silver dragon with blue futuristic highlights appears and roars loudly “Then with True Light I can special summon one Blue Eyes White Dragon from my hand!” A large silver dragon with pulsing blue eyes appears “then I activate Roar of the Blue Eyed Dragons and special summon from my deck Blue Eyes Abyss Dragon” a long dragon with angelic silver wings emerges “To which it activates its effect when special summoned I can add one fusion or one ritual card from my deck to hand I pick Chaos Form!” He adds the card to his hand and shuffles his deck “then I will synchro summon using Sage with Eyes of Blue and Blue-Eyes Abyss Dragon to synchro summon Blue Eyes Spirit Dragon and then I tribute Spirit Dragon to special summon from my extra deck Blue Eyes Ultimate Spirit Dragon!” A large three headed white dragon with gold highlights appears and roars so load it shakes the area “n-no your Jonny?!” “Yes I am!” Jonny replies “oh um I see..” “then I’ll go ahead and xyz summon Indigo Eyes Silver Dragon by overlaying Blue Eyes White Dragon and Alternative White Dragon!” Jonny says with a huge grin A large deep silver dragon appears “then I’ll attack your face down and destroy it with Ultimate Spirit Dragon!” Big Shield Gardna gets destroyed by Ultimate Spirit Dragon “then I attack you direct with Indigi Eyes for game!” Clines life points drop to 0 and Jonny wins “good game!” Jonny holds out his hand as Cline shakes it “good game.” They then part ways.

Chapter 5:

As we cut back to Ninjis duel we see it over with Arlo defeated “good game” Arlos holds out his hand “good game” Ninji shakes his hand. Arlo and Ninji part ways and Ninji pulls out his phone and calls Jonny. “Hey Jonny! Where you at!””Im at jacks street in the back alley!” Jonny replies “Got I’ll meet you there in a few!” “You got it!” Jonny hangs up. Ninji begins heading toward jacks street and decides to take a back alley to save time “hey you there.” A voice calls out from the shadows “who’s there? Are you another duelist?” “Me no I’m a just a messenger” the voice replies “the what message do you bring?” Ninji asks “there’s a briefcase that’s  been dropped off to one of the duelist. Liztek Minstro. He has it but tell no one you heard this from me.” Ninji looks confused “what’s in the brief case?” “Can’t say. Just know you’ll need and take these” the stranger holds out four cards the three Egyptian Gods. Ra, Slifer and Obalisk and another car Holactie the Creater of Light “wh-what?! Why are you giving me these?” Ninji asks stunned by the cards in front of him “Because you’ll need them” Ninji takes the cards the stranger leaves as Ninji continues walking and eventually gets to jacks street and finds Jonny leaning against a wall looking through his deck “Jonny! Sorry if I’m a little late!” “You’re good Ninji don’t worry i haven’t been up to much!” Jonny replies with a grin “let’s get a hotel or something for the night.” “Totally” Jonny puts his deck in his duel disk and follows Ninji to a the hotel “Jonny win any duels while I was away?” “Yeah I beat this one dude with a dark magician deck. Though he didn’t get much use cause I beat him easily!” Jonny replies with as they both walk into the hotel. Ninji walks into the hotel and up to the front counter “hey can I get a room for two weeks?” The receptionist looks up “of course. That’ll be 60.47 cash or card?” Ninji pulls out a credit card “card” he pays and gets the room key “thank you” Jonny and Ninji walk off into the elevator and head to their room floor. “Jonny you nervous? You seem off.” “Yeah it’s just that it’s my first time being in one of these tournaments!” Jonny answers with a nervous grin “well don’t worry you’ll do fine you’re a strong enough duelist! You’ll do fine!” Jonny nods in response as the elevator dings signaling their stop as they step out they walk down the hall and find their room. Room 407 and walk in find an open room with 2 beds a couch and a bath with a flat screen tv on a table as Jonny instantly flops onto a bed and grabs the tv remote “Ha Ha! I get first pick!” Jonny flips through the channels as Ninji kicks off his shoes and settles into the other bed next to Jonny’s “watch what you want I need to check the tournaments news.” Ninji pulls out his phone and starts scrolling as Jonny starts playing a show in the background as Ninji comes across an article about the briefcase the stranger mentioned earlier talking about it holding some super rare cards that anyone would want. Though Ninji doesn’t mention it to Jonny thinking he’ll instantly go after them and cause them to loose. “Hey Jonny wanna go get something to eat?” “Hell yeah! Let’s go to that new sushi place the opened up nearby!” Jonny jumps up from the bed and runs out the door as Ninji follows in matching his pace and the eventually arrive at the restaurant and order their food “so Jonny. We need to find some of the challengers by tomorrow. So we can advance and win faster. Got it.” Jonny shoving a piece of sushi in his mouth give Ninji a thumbs up as they continue eating and chatting.

Chapter 6:

The next day as Jonny and Ninji walk around the city they eventually decide to split up and go find duelists. And as Jonny walks through the city a voice calls out “hey kid you’re a duelist right well then get ready to duel!” Jonny turns around and finds a tall man with large muscles and bitch black and slick duel disk “uhhh… I guess you’re on..” Jonny readies his duel disk as both duelist draw their hands “I’ll go first!” The stranger says “oh also my names chino!” Chino draws a card “First I will activate Danger!? Tsuchinoko? To which I shuffle it into my hand and you pick a card!” Chino shuffles his hand and Jonny picks “middle right!” “Nope!” Chino says as he discards the card “now I get to special summon Danger!? Tsuchinoko from my hand in attack mode and draw a card!” Chine draws a card “I’ll summon Brron, Mad King of Dark Word in attack mode! Then I set 2 cards and pass turn!” Jonny draws a card “okay then I’ll go!” Jonny looks at his hand “first I’ll summon Sage with Eyes of Blue in defense mode allowing me to grab Maiden of White from my deck to which I will discard her and grab one true light from my hand!” Jonny send the card to the grave and places true light onto the field “then I’ll activate true lights second effect and grab Roar of the Blue Eyed Dragons and use it to special Blue Eyes White Dragon onto my field from my deck!” Blue Eyes white dragon screeches and the battlefield shakes “then I’ll synchro summon Blue-Eyes Spirt Dragon that I’ll then tribute to summon Blue-Eyes Ultimate Spirit Dragon and then I attack Tsuchinoko!” Chino grunts as his life points drop to 2800 “my move draw!” Chino draws “I’ll activate Danger! Bigfoot!s effect!” Chino shuffles his hand “pick a card!” Jonny thinks for a second “left!” Jonny shouts as chino discards a card and summons Danger! Bigfoot! “I pass my turn!” Jonny draws a card “I’ll activate Ultimate fusion and fuse from my hand and grave Blue Eyes White Dragon with Neo Kaiser Sea Horse!” Jonny shuffles them into his deck “hey you can’t do that!” Chino shouts “oh but I can thanks to Ultimate Fusion!” Chino scratches his chin confused but not arguing back “I fusion summon Blue Eyes Tyrant Dragon! And attack and Tyrant Dragon can attack all you monsters at once!” Chinos life points drop to 800 “now I attack you directly!” Chino life points drop to 0 “good game chino!” Jonny holds out his hand “good game!” They shake hands. As the scene shifts we see Ninji walking around the city before hearing a loud laugh “ahahahahaha!” Ninji runs to the sound and finds two challengers there after having taken the briefcase from a duelist they beat “hey you two duel now! And when I’ll take that brief case!” The challengers stop laughing “oh yeah let’s see if you can beat the Nixo twins!” They go back to back into a flashy stance “hey I’m max that’s Alex!” Ninji gets ready to battle “let’s do this.” He says as he expression drops to a serious one as his left gains a blue tint again as Yaku takes over “you both get the same turn as one and field.” He draws his hand They both nod “we’ll make the first move.” 

Chapter 7:

They combine their decks and draw their hand and card “if I win you’re both out right?” “Yes” they reply “first we must our decks are the same so we just did a little editing but anyways let’s begin.” Alex says as max nods and begins to play “first I’ll set one card then place Preformapal skullcrobat Joker in my pendulum zone and then activate Duelist Alliance and I’ll grab Preformapal U Go Golem from my deck to hand then set the pendulum scale and pendulum summon Preformapal Odd-Eyes Unicorn. Pass turn.” Yaku draws a card “first I’ll set one card. Then I’ll summon Baby Cyber Dragon to my field then activate Cyber Evolution to evolve it into Young Cyber Dragon.” He sends Babh Cyber Dragon to the grave and Cyber Evolution “then I’ll play my field spell Cybernetic Tokyo allowing any monster gain 400 attack and defense as well as do piercing. So then I’ll attack.” The twins life points drop to 6400 as the Odd-Eyes Unicron get sent to the top of the extra deck “we draw” Alex says “we pendulum summon Supreme King Dragon Odd-Eyes in attack mode and Odd Eyes Unicorn in defense. Then we atta-“ “not so fast.” Yaku interrupts “I activate future turn by sacrificing 300 life points I can vanish your Supreme King until the next turn when gets attack back to the hand.” Yakus life points drop to 7700 as Max removes the card and ends their turn. Ninji draws a card “I pay 100 life points to keep Cybernetic Tokyo on the field.” Yakus life points drop once more to 7600 “I summon Ancient Cyber Dragon by tributing Young Cyber Dragon.” He discards Young Cyber Dragon and play Ancient Cyber Dragon “then I attack with Ancient Cyber Dragon.” Odd-Eyes Unicorn gets sent to the extra deck as the twins life points drop to 3700 “draw.” The twins draw “we pendulum summon the card that we’re taken away last turn and set one card.” Yaku draws “I pay another 100 life points and set one card then I summon Cyber Tuner and attack you Odd-Eyes Unicorn with cyber tuner. And you Sumpreme King with Ancient Dragon.” The twins life points drop to 1700 and Yakus drop to 7500 “draw.” The twins draw “we’ll start by activating Duelist Alliance.” They search their deck and grab a card “we grab Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon to put hand and pendulum summon him and the others only putting Odd-Eyes Unicorn in defense. Then I attack your Cyber Tuner.” Yakus life points drop to 6800. Yaku draws a card “first I activate Cyber Synchron and banish Cyber Tuner to attack their attack points to Ancient Cyber Dragon. Then I attack your Odd-Eyes Unicorn for game.” Alex and maxs life points fall to 0 “good game!” Ninji says return to normal holding out his hand “good game!” Alex and max say as they shake his hand and give him the briefcase and walks over to the duelist “hey you good?” “Huh? oh yeah!” The duelist replies “alrightly” Ninji then walks off holding the briefcase as he meets up with Jonny “hey Jonny!” “What’s up Ninji?” Jonny asks “a new rule was announced. Apparently we can only duel now from 1:30-10:30.” Ninji states “no way that’s crazy! You can’t limit dueling! But fine I’ll oblige!” Jonny says frustrated. They then go eat lunch at 2:30 before continuing walking their own paths.

Chapter 8:

Afteruuu 7 minutes Ninji enters a mall and walks around for a while before walking into a card shop and buys a box of the newest card set before heading towards the exit but on his way out someone stops him “hey buddy what’s in the briefcase?” Ninji turns around and finds a security guard with a strange triangular shape on his badge standing there “I don’t actually know. I’m a challenger from the duel tournament!” He smiles nervously “what duel tournament kid? There is no tournament this year.” The security guard states with crossed arms “what do you mean the yearly tournament is going on as of right now.” Ninji states confused “kid you go? the tournament was canceled.” The security guard grabs his shoulder Ninji takes a step back before running out of the mall and into another duelist a short nerdy girl and ends up falling over on top of her and as he pushes himself up looking down at her as her cheeks get painted a faint pink “c-could you get off me please.” Ninji gets up “oh yeah sorry my bad.” He says with a sheepish smile before offering his hand. The girl takes his hand and gets up. “Did you hear any news about the tournament being canceled?” The girl shakes her head “no why was it” Ninji shrugs “I don’t know.” The girl gets into a duel stance “well I don’t care because we still need to duel!” She says as Ninji gets ready as well “Duel!” They shout and draw their hands “oh also my name’s J-Jamie.” “Nice to meet ya Jamie I’m Ninji! And I’ll go first” Ninji draws a card “I’ll play the field spell Cybernetic Tokyo all my cyber monsters gain 400 attack and defense and get piercing! Then I summon baby synergy dragon in defense before ending my turn.” Jamie draws a card “I’ll set one card then activate Branded fusion.” Jamie searches her deck “I’ll fuse Guiding Quem, the Vurtuos and Fallen of Albaz.” She discards them as Ninji thinks to himself:’a branded deck aye good to know’ as Jamie place a card on her duel disk “I fusion summon Albion the Branded Dragon. Then I’ll use its ability to banish one card from my hand and the two monsters in my grave to fusion summon.” She banishes the cards by putting them away and then places a card onto the duel disk “I fusion summon The Dragon that Devours the Dogma! Then I’ll attack your baby cyber dragon with Albion.” Ninjis life points drop to 6400 “now I attack directly with Devour!” Nenji is left with just 3400 life points but as this is going on Jonny has his own challenges. After Jonny and Ninji split up Jonny ran into one of the challengers in the tournament but the challenger runs and Jonny follows but not before tripping. And as he gets up someone comes from behind him and slams a pole into his face knocking him out. As he wakes up his entire left side hurts like hell. “Hey what’s goin-“. “quiet!” A voice shouts out cutting off Jonny “if you want to survive this you’ll be quiet.” Jonny stays silent but winces hard at how his face hurts having a badly bruised face and bloodied nose. “Look we need to know where Ninji is. So just tell us.” “No” Jonny states “no I won’t. Why do you want him?” The figure holds up a sharpened duel disk “we have plans” the scene returns to the duel as he gets a call from Jonny as he draws for his turn. He answers the phone. “Hey Jonny what’s up?” A small gap of silence occurs before “Ninji meet us at the top of Blue Tower in an hour and a half or else Jonny might not be around anymore.” “What…? What!” He hangs up before focusing on the duel. He’s expression darkens as he makes his move. “First I’ll special summon Cyber Dragon from my hand then tribute it to summon Ancient Cyber Dragon.” He pauses analyzing the field “I attack Albion” Jamie life points drop to 3200 “draw.” She looks at her hand “I set one card and end my turn.” Ninji draws “I summon youn cyber dragon and attack your monster with Ancient Dragon.” Jamie looses 300 life points dropping it to 2900 “then I attack directly.” Ninji states coldly as she’s down to only 1200 life points. Jamie draws “I end my turn…” she says knowing she’s lost as he draws “I attack directly.” She puts her cards away and hold out her hand “good game.” Ninji ignores her “let’s go. Now.” He grabs her wrist and starts running towards Blue Tower.

Chapter 9:

“H-hey! What’s going on!? Where are we going!?” He keeps running “we’re gonna save my friend.” he says as he keeps running through the streets until reaching the tower. “Name and phone number?” the security guard asks pulling out a list “Ninji Hano. 108-746-9861.” The security guard checks the list “no-“ Ninji punches his throat and slams the brief case into his head knocking him out before walking inside still pulling Jamie with him. They reach an elevator and gets in heading to the top floor. The scene changes however to the towers surveillance room and texts two people saying he’s on his way and to stop him. Scene cuts back as the elevator opens on floor 12 as a man stands there with a sharpened duel disk ready to duel already having a hand. Ninji draws his hand and draws to start his turn “I summon Young Cyber Dragon in attack then use two Cyber  Evolutions to evolve my Yoong Dragon into Ancient Cyber Dragon from my deck. And set one card.” The duelists draws a card “first I’ll summon Roxrose Dragon in defense activating its effect.” He searches his deck “I add Ruddy Rose Witch to my hand and play the field spell Black Garden.” Ninji draws “I summon Cyber Tuner to my field and attack with Cyber Tuner. Then I attack directly.” The man’s life points drop to 1100 as he rushes at Ninji and attacks with his duel disk but Ninji dodges and uppercuts the man before grabbing him by the collar and punching him repeatedly “where’s Jonny!” He punches him again “I won’t break!” The man replies as Ninji keeps punching him breaking his nose with a crack as Jamie pulls him away “hey hey hey! Calm down!” Jamie pulls him into the elevator and they continue up. Along the way Ninji wipes the blood off his knuckles as the elevator stops. Doors open and they see someone else standing there with a sharpened duel disk. Before Ninji can react Jamie steps forward “I’ll take you on!” Ninji just nods as the doors close. Jamie’s goes first both already with their hands as Jamie’s draws. “I activate branded fusion to fusion summon Albion the Branded Dragon. Then activate Albion’s ability to banish three cards and fusion summon The Dragon the Devours the Dogma! And set one card.” The other person doesn’t say anything just draws sets a monster and three card and ends their turn “I draw!” Jamie draws a card as the man rushes at her “ah!” she blocks with her duel disk as the man jumps back “o-okay. I summon Keeper of Dragon Magic. I Attack with Albion then directly with my other monsters.” The man bows and runs off. The scene cuts back to the surveillance room with the challenger slamming his fist in the table “damnit!” “Hahaha!” Jonny laughs “what’s so funny?” The man asks stepping closer “you can’t win so don’t even try!” “Oh yeah then we’re going to the roof!” He grabs Jonny who’s tied up and takes him to the roof tossing him down and waiting. We cut back to Ninji seeing him arrive in the surveillance room “no no no no!” He looks around and finds a note ‘50 minutes left’ he gets in the elevator and presses the roof button in panic. Arriving at the roof seeing the man and Jonny.

Chapter 10:

“Jonny!” Ninji runs towards them fist clenched but stops short noticing that Jonny’s on the edge of the building as the challenger has his foot against his back prepared to push him off “duel me and if you when I’ll let him go. If you loose you give that briefcase and your Egyptian God cards.” The challenger states with no room to argue “fine but what’s your name?” Ninji asks as they draw their hands “Marco. And I’ll make the first move” Marco draws a card “I activate On Your Mark, Get Set, DUEL! Which allows me to grab one synchron card from my deck to hand.” Marco searches his deck and as he does so Ninji notices the same triangular symbol on his duel disk that was on the security guards badge “I’ll add Jet Synchron to my hand.” Marco then shuffles his deck “I set one monster and pass turn.” Ninji draws a card “I special summon Cyber Dragon from my hand. Then I activate Cyber Evolution to swap my Cyber Dragon with my Ancient Cyber Dragon from my deck.” He discards Cyber Dragon and summons Ancient Cyber Dragon “I then set one card and attack your face down monster.” The monster his destroyed as Marco draws a card “first I’ll summon Junk Synchron in defense mode before tribute it to special summon Stardust Synchron from my graveyard in defense. Which activates Satellite Synchrons effect allowing me to special summon it in defense.” Ninji draws a card “I attack Satellite Synchron” Marco draws “I activate One for One and set Jet Synchron to my grave to special summon Crossroad Sonic Chick to my field in attack.” He shuffles his deck “then I synchro sum-“ “halt not so fast” Ninji interjects “I activate future turn and banish Stardust Synchron until next turn.” Ninjis life points fall to 7700 Marco ends his turn and Ninji draws “I attack your Sonic Chick with Ancient Dragon” Marco’s life points drop to 6400 “then I summon Cyber Tuner which allows me to summon another from my hand but it’s no longer a tuner.” Marco draws “I set one card and end turn.” Ninji draws “I set one card then I tribute all my monsters on my field to summon Obelisk the Tormentor!” The giant monster arises behind the building leaving Marco shocked by its sheer power as Ninji takes this moment to take his duel disk and cards and push him off the building.

Chapter 11:

Marcos partner runs up to the roof and witnesses Ninji pushing Marco off the roof “hey what was that?!” He runs forward to attack with the sharpened duel disk but Ninji dodges and counters by cutting his arm and kick his chest sending him tumbling back as his arm gushes blood “gha!” The challenger clutches his arm before trying to attack again but Jonny now free punches his throat and then kicks his groin knocking him out from the pain. They take his duel disk and break it. “Hey Ninji what’s with the briefcase?” Jonny asks “I don’t really know it supposed to have really strong cards but I haven’t opened it yet.” Ninji answers Jonny still confused asks “Did you know about this beforehand?” “I found out about a day ago.” Ninji answers Jonny “why wasn’t I warned?” Jonny asks still confused “because I didn’t want you to rush in and we end up loosing.” Jonny nods at Ninjis answer “makes sense. Now we should go before anything else happens.” Jonny begins walking away as Ninji follows. The vet in the elevator and head down to the lobby as Jamie is there waiting. Jamie rushes over when she sees them “What happened? Are you hurt?” Ninji shakes his head “no. Where not but we need to go.” He grab her wrist and starts walking. Jamie follows as they eventually reach the hotel again. They enter and head to their room as Ninji tosses the briefcase onto the bed and sits down. “What are we gonna do? We have a briefcase that has who knows what, and I can’t even process what just happened.” Jonny walks over “open it. Open the briefcase.” Ninji looks up at him and nods “Good idea.” Ninji picks up the briefcase onto case and holds on in his lap as Jonny sits next to him and Jamie moves behind place a hand over Ninji. Ninji opens the briefcase only to find some cards and a grey and blue sharpened duel disk. Ninji picks up the cards 3 Holy Cyber Dragons, 3 Holy Cyber Summonings Holy Cyber Fusion and Cyber Dragon Divinity. “What is all this? These are cyber dragons.., and this duel disk.. what’s happening who’s doing this?” Neither Jamie or Jonny know the just shrug. “I guess. We have to prepare for what ever is going to happen.” Jamie and Jonny nod. They all begin to edit their decks over the next few days trying to avoid as many battles as possible. Ninji makes this forearm sleeve to hold his “God Cards” and they end up making another sharpened duel disk so each of them are prepared. On the 10th day of the tournament they all are ready to face this challenge.
