I want to reduce back down to 20mg from 30mg. Has anyone done this without horrible side effects? I am finding 30mg very difficult to tolerate

My rosacea was triggered by a build up of traumatic events, including losing my partner suddenly when we were away on holiday in October 2024. 6 months later, I fell down the stairs and broke my ankle in two places. The surgery required a metal plate and screws to be inserted. . I started noticing the tingling in my cheeks and redness in Augusr 2025 . I finally went to see a dermatologist in February this year, who diagnosed rosacea. Didn't say a type, but i have no pustules, so assume it is type 1.

I am 71, and have always had clear skin up to now. It has had a profound impact on my self esteem, despite my age.

It saddens me to see so many young people on here with the condition, and you all seem so brave in the way you are tackling it.
