Power cutting off
Ok, having an interesting problem. I have about 1200 miles on my Revv1, so far no real issues. I went to go out for a ride the other day and noticed after turning the bike on and going down my drive way, the power was cutting out. I was thinking maybe the battery was loose or the connections had worked loose. After taking the battery off, cleaning the connections, then unplugging and replugging in the connections, the issue was still happening.
The thing I noticed was the bike would turn on and stay on perfectly fine if I had the handle bars turned towards the right, but as soon as I started to straighten them out, the power would cut out. You would think then that turning the handle bars was pulling the wires, but in fact going from the right to center is actually loosing the wires, so its giving it more slack.
I took off the cover on the frame, checked all the wires, undid the loom covering the wires going along the front of the bike and didnt notice anything out of the ordinary like a pinched wire or loose connection.
The final step I guess would be completely unhooking everything and pulling the wires off the bike, but I was hoping to see if someone else could shed some light on the issue before completely jumping in and pulling things apart.
I live in SoCal, so I guess worst case scenario I could drive it down to San Diego and have the Ride1up guys look at it. I'm not sure a normal Ebike shop would be able to diagnose electrical issues.
Thanks again in advance
