Should I major in HS chemistry teaching or chemical engineering?
Hello, I am in my late 20s and have spent my last 7 years working as an operator at a oilfield related plant as an process operator. (on the board/console primarily for last 4) I plan to go back to college now and pursue a chemistry teaching degree to become a school teacher as that is what I have always wanted to do.
My dream since a child has been to be a teacher and I have spent a year as a paraprofessional about 8 or 9 years ago. Loved it and miss working in a school. But I do have relative job experience if i did want to get an engineering degree (last 7 years) and could get higher pay than teaching, although it’s not something that really interests me too much?
I would like to become a teacher and retire as one, what degree should I get?
