Hey, during the week 13 reading week (28th November-5th of December), are there any lectures? Or is it like a “break” from school to study.

I’m in DN200, maths (if that changes things).

UCD screwed up my admission, so I have guaranteed round 2 offer. I live in the EU, but not Ireland.

Orientation starts Sept. 2, right? Are other EU students going to be there that day? What is everyone's plan, I wanna know how much Im missing out on.

Have people been receiving accommodation offers, yet?

Hi, I just wanted to tell my brief storytime about today's nightmare, in case anyone could be in the same situation.

I applied with an IB Diploma, meaning my results/qualifications were manually assessed. I got rejected from a course where I was 26 points above their entry requirement. Turns out they had accidentally ignored my science subject :) I'm now supposed to get a round 2 offer.

I know it depends on the year, but has anyone gotten into Mathematics (single honours) with 566 CAO points or less in round 1?

I have seen many on here post their component marks. However, my IB-Coordinator refuses to give me my component marks. I really want them to judge if one of my subjects could be worth remarking, especially since I have no clue what my IAs scored.

She also doesn't want me to remark unless i'm 1 or 2 marks away from the grade boundaries, but these could make or break whether I get into my top uni.

Does anyone know from experience how quickly UCAS updates when results are out?

Hi, so I'm hoping to study at TCD and live in Trinity Halls. I understand that Trinity Halls are quite far from campus itself, so I was wondering if anyone has experience with biking back and forth? I don't really mind the distance, but are there biking lanes/safe ways to get there?

I come from a country where biking everywhere is quite normal, and I would like to save the transport fees.
