is my cat just being dramatic?? i worry that something is wrong with him or if he is just being needy. he does that yowl that makes me nervous he is injured or something

He isnt alone in the house but he needs to be kept away from our other two girl cats. the first time we tried to introduce them it didnt go great, and then it imploded when there was a bad fight and one of the girls ripped his ear. we kept them separate and i moved out for a bit, and now we are trying to reintroduce them but its still not working… the girls hiss at the closed door even if we feed them near each other on each side of the door. he is around 4 years old we think
