tl;dr GF has a STD

So me and my girlfriend have been together for 5 months at this time, and she had to get her IUD removed. While she got it removed they tested her for STDS an she tested positive for chlamydia. So as we have had unprotected intercourse for the last 5 months, i also went to get tested so i could start on the antibiotics. Although when i got tested 6 days later (Procrastinated) i got a negative result. we havent had unprotected sex in about 2.5 weeks so i got worried. so i called my doctor to ask if there were any ways i couldve gotten a false negative and he said no. so now im wondering if she cheated on me or is there any way that she can be positive and i can be negative?
