Hello! I am about to start at The Hague campus of Leiden uni, and I’m considering renting a room at Schilderswijk. The apartment is near Hobbemaplein. I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with that specific area, since I know it’s considered a bit bad.

If you do, I would appreciate any details you can give/experiences you can share! Especially from women or anyone who’s lived near the specific streets of the apartment I’m considering.
