PSA orange water tint

Hello

I just feel like I need to do a little public service announcement.

I don't like orange. I don't wear orange makeup.

But I just got the etude water tint in orange and I love it beyond all my other makeup.

It looks orange going on but you can blend it out and it kind of dries down more subtle.

I love it on my lips - it gives my lips but better.

But if you wanted to - you could apply it more if you wanted it to be more obviously orange.

I am someone who struggles with lip stuff. I have thin droopy lip anatomy so bright lips tend to age me. I tend to go for subtle sheer lip colours. This goes on sheer orange then as it dries it sort of looks like a subtle warm tint that looks healthy and fresh, a little reddish when it mixes with the natural pink colour of my lips - a little brighter than my natural lip shade, and the shade is clear not muted. It's very pretty.

And on cheeks. It gives a kind of glow. It does look orange on cheeks initially but after applying .. I take a look at myself in my car mirror for example and it just kind of looks like a healthy glow rather than screaming orange.

I like that it's not rusty, it's not peachy as there's no pink in it, it's not orange mixed with white, it's sheer and buildable. When it's light it just gives a kind of my skin but better/healthy glow kind of thing - which is my preference for makeup. But because it's buildable, if orange is your thing, you could totally make it more bright if you wanted to.

I recommend checking out orange water tints - elf make one as well. They are actually not very expensive. Have a look on social media and see what colour it comes out - it's really nice and I think it would be so flattering for springs and with the potential to be subtle or "nude-ish" which I know springs struggle with at times.

I'm wearing it every day as someone who prefers low/subtle makeup. I've been trawling this subreddit searching for my lips but better lipliner recs and realised that "nude" makeup options are hard to come by - so I thought I'd share this gem with you all.
