Is there really scope in MSc branches at BITS?

Hello BITSians,
This post is mostly for the seniors at BITS campuses. I score around 230-240 in my mocks. But I'm not really sure if I'll get EEE/ENI, and moreover, 2026 cutoffs are expected to be higher than the previous year cutoffs.
As I am planning to go for Masters in STEM, I am slightly more inclined towards CSE in my undergrad. I know its common for Electronics undergrads to pursue masters in CSE as well, but still for the better opportunities.
So, do you guys think I should go MSc Eco, and then try to get into CSE? Like I am afraid of my CGPA going lower than required and me getting some shitty branch like mechanical or civil or even bioscience or something, which would completely devastate my career pathway.

So, I just wanted to know:

  1. Is it okay if I waste another year in dual degrees, cuz I would be 1 year late for my masters?
  2. Is it really a safe option?
  3. What BE branch will I get if I have X.X GPA? How many students get into CSE, EEE, ENI?
  4. How difficult is it to score that certain amount of GPA? How much effort did you guys put in your 1st years to get your branches?
  5. Should I go for EEE/ENI if I get it in BE degrees?
  6. Is there any issue during the placements for MSc students?

Thanks in advance. Tips apart from these are also appreciated.
