AIO or do i just not get these younger folk
my husband (40) has a young boss (35) who also has a younger wife (30). That couple is fine to be around, drinkers but not heavy partiers. I am telling myself they are just young enough that indon’t understand their values of marriage. this is because she has made comments to my husband, he’s “cute” and a “hottie”—ok, thats not too out of pocket, ok. but then one weekend, her and her husband have been doing some drinking, and she tells us (in front of her husband as well) that she wants to have sex with her husband’s business partner (in the event of her becoming a widow). hmmm…she did say she wanted to peg him…but is that not penetration…she wants to bang her husband’s business partner. like, period.
so, am i over reacting when she is texting my husband on a week he is out of office and on vacation with me? this wasn’t just one message, this was for the entire 7 day vacation. what sent me off was that she texted him last night after 10:30pm on a friday..,like, why?
UPDATE: i told my husband exactly how i feel about this and he said, “i know exactly what you mean. she is really inappropriate and i don’t know what their personal life is about, but she feels like she can rant totally unfiltered.. i’ve just been trying to be respectful because that is his wife, and i don’t want to be rude but i do need to curb the conversation because she’ll just keep going.“
Him and his boss were good friends before working together, and way before he got married, so he has shown his boss her texts, only for him to say “she’s relentless”.
well that’s a fact, i’m glad he sees it too.
