Never had such an amazing finish at Talladega before
Last lap I got a big push from Ross Chastain and ended up taking the lead coming out of the second-to-last turn, and I held it all the way down the backstretch. But once we got close to the pit road area, the whole pack behind me got a huge run in the draft and started flying up to me. I didn’t really have anyone pushing me at that point, so I was kind of a sitting duck. Then I got turned toward pit road, lost all my speed instantly, and after that everyone just blew right past me like I was standing still. I went from first to finishing 36th in like two seconds.
