I’ve been playing heat 5 for years and have been tempted to switch over to NASCAR 25 as I’ve heard it’s a little more realistic than heat 5. However I see it was developed by iRacing and I know they’re more of a race simulation company rather than an arcade driver. I play on controller and I don’t have the budget for a decent wheel and pedal setup. Will 25 play decently with a controller? Or am I gonna need a wheel and pedal setup? Any advice appreciated

We all want a owner mode like a stick & ball sports game where you can sign drivers, sponsors, have drivers retire, actually own the team & all that. But realistically we know due to sponsorship deals that will never happen so what if we instead got a whole NASCAR manager game, fake drivers, teams, sponsors, charter system, custom schedule, driver ratings, prospects, all 4 series, hiring & firing of drivers, crew chiefs, pit crews, mechanics & buildings. Also have a paint booth for cars, be able to make custom drivers, crew chiefs, pit members, mechanics so that if we choose we can have the real teams in there. Maybe instead of EVERY sponsor being fake we could get some of the real ones same with the teams but that might be a little more complicated. I don't know it's just a thought what do you guys think about it?

I play a lot of madden franchise mode where I make all the decisions regarding the team but don’t actually play the games. I just watch how they play out. “Slow sim”.

Is there a mode on here like that? Or do you have to run the races yourself?

If there were a slow sim it would push me over the edge from 50/50 on getting it.

I have played about 200 hours of career mode @ 101 / expert (I have only raced about 5 cup races for what that is worth)

The last two days I started racing online and it has been awesome in contrast to what I see on here and on twitter lol

When racing online do you S tier drivers have better setups or are you just more of a wheelman?

With a controller I run A laps with an occasional S.
