Just a few that I've done in recent months 🔥👀

Feel free to ask questions, I'm very happy to share my process with making these. (A lot of graphic design and attention to detail)

These all kind of share platforms as I always kinda rotate my builds for each chassis I have. However, I'm starting to expand my fleet so I DONT have to rotate identities.

I know these aren't the MOST accurate out there, but for my budget and circumstances, I think they're pretty good! :)

Those popcorn buckets were an immediate purchase when I saw them after the movie. I almost ordered one, but I found some at my local Hot Topic!

They're super cute, especially since you can wear them. But after buying one, I realized I don't really need a popcorn bucket. I usually just eat the popcorn out of the bag when I microwave it.

So I thrifted a cheap "portable lamp" it says on the bottom. But any lamp would work really, smaller the better in my case.

I used a pencil to outline the head of the lamp, on the bottom of the pomni bucket. Then I used a Dremel with a cutting wheel to cut a hole that was just the right size.

If you have a "hole saw" that would honestly work better.

And a little bit of cleanup later, I was able to slide it perfectly over the head of the lamp. (Outside of where the bulb screws in) And then I put the bulb in using the little access door, Glitch oh so nicely added for the popcorn. lol I'm even able to uncrew the bulb, and take the pomni bucket off as a whole for maintainance.

I didn't show the inside with any bulbs, but the inside can fit regular size bulbs fine. I elected to swap out the bright bulb in image 1, with a smaller RGB bulb I can change the color of with a remote. (Seen in the other images)

I'm wanting to make more :) maybe customize the lamp, paint it blue/red/yellow. I just don't wanna spend another $35 on a popcorn bucket I'm just going to mutilate immediately 🤣

TEAM MEENTS FOR LIFE 💪

A nice day of practice down in the stock losi Nascar class, ended up not racing due to most racers being at IMS.

So I settled with a nice practice day, and $80 later, I was REALLY up and running. (I had to buy a smart charger)

A few laps later I'm noting my pink paint flaming off on the Left Front side of the car. And it kept getting WORSE as I ran and.. cut.. corners too close lol (I was trying hard to get a sub 13!) in the end the best I could muster was a 13 flat. Not bad for not running for a while :)

But I've never seen my paint chip THIS bad after racing. Most of my bodies RARELY chip paint at all. But this is horrendous, especially because it throws debris out there :c

I usually have a 4 step process to painting

-scuff the surface

-wash the inside of the body

-mask

-and then paint!

Great times either way :)

I've always wanted a nice Novak combo for the longest! Especially now that they don't exist anymore, I was VERY excited to stumble upon this at Traders World. A guy in isle 1 had a whole RC booth with a bunch of parts everywhere. I highly recommend going by there if you visit Traders World lol

But as far as Novak goes, I'm in the dark here. I know this is a Velociti 5.5 turn sensored motor paired with the original GTB esc. I have yet to solder on a connector and see if it actually works, but that is soon to change lol

I do know that there were different iterations of the GTB esc, later ones having built in LVC. Is there any way to tell just by looking right now if this one is an older GTB with LVC?

I do wish to put this system to use in a Mod short course truck or something on road based due to the high KV motor. So knowing if I can use a lipo without purchasing an external alarm is important lol

Guess I'll ultimately figure it out when I plug it in and look at the lights/beeps. Just thought I'd swing it by any Novak pros out there so I could learn more about this system 😎😂

The stock electronics weren't cutting it, so in goes a Rlaarlo motor! :)

I also rediscovered why I don't buy cheap Amazon cars while doing this, everything is proprietary!!

Weird spur hear teeth pitch, like idk what it is, definitely not 48p. It's like the pitch you'd see on toy grade gears. Which is like, why 🫩 but I did find a pinion meant for the Team Associated MT-12 that worked fine it seems.

My only problem now is the servo, the truck uses a weird sized servo. Not a micro servo, but definitely not full size. It's like the servo you'd find in that green WL Toys buggy (the 122001 I believe?) but even if you wanted to keep the stock servo, ya can't bc it's 5 wire 😭

So ya girls been busting her butt trying to make this thing work but it moves!! Just gotta get a better servo that isn't too small.

I'm also having a problem with battery options, I have no lipos that size. But I can always just get one. And because Im stuck with li-on packs, the punch for that motor just isn't there unfortunately.

Definitely gonna be getting a 2s sometime lol

Also finally, does anyone know where I could find parts for this car? Just in case I do break something with this extra power I have. It's just one of those generic 1:14/1:12 4x4 cars I'm sure a million have made.

Everyone complained about my "wreckless driving" in my last upload.

Different game from N25 but this is how I USUALLY drive lol My driving my my N25 upload was extremely egregious I'll agree, but I was going for a win doing everything to stay ahead. It was purely situational. Anyway I digress lol

This was back on controller, before I got my pile of a wheel I have now. But I don't infact drive like all the terrible things people have said. Also people saying they'd wreck me for late blocks is way worse than late/reactive blocks. 🤣
