• The Y-shaped triple junction at (0°N, 0°E) acts as a tectonic waveguide
• Seasonal amplitude variation is caused by Earth's axial tilt, not ocean storms
• The absence of diurnal variation points to a source perpendicular to Earth's equatorial plane
