Why is dermatology generally considered better than allergy/immunology?

Do you think the cosmetic/aesthetic well paid part will still be so in years?

Besides, allergists are ranked no.1 happiest doctors with relatively good pay and good work life balance. Dermatologist see all sorts of horrendous looking STIs and generally ugly stuff lol

What do you think?

I am yet to choose my specialty and therefore I have to ask what am I missing really? Why everyone seems to suggest me allergy is fine, but derm would be a better choice?

Alergology/Immunology vs Endocrinology

I am currently between the two and I literally cannot choose. What are the pros and cons of these two specialties? How are the pay and lifestyle? I also heard allergy has the happiest specialists?

My 17OHP levels are 2.18ng/ml. My gynecologist said NCCAH is unlikely since I have very many follicles on my ovaries. Has anyone tested these levels of 17OHP? with midrange normal Androstenedione?

Metformin with normal HOMA IR

I have a HOMA IR of 0.78. My doctor still wants to try Metformin. Has anyone with low HOMA IR (and no hypoglycemic symptoms) tried Metformin?
