Putting up new camera
I have a few cameras that would add up to an eufy security system. I live in an apartment building and before I moved in I noticed my neighbors had a doorbell cam so I immediately installed one. After I moved in the same neighbors with the doorbell cam were talking to me about how they feel the building is unsafe and they were thinking about getting a gun. I asked if I should be worried about the back of the building and was told yes. I was also told when the female neighbor was in the basement one time doing laundry she was assaulted. So I put my other outside cam out the back window and ordered another one for the front so I can see all directions besides the doorbell.
Since then the neighbors in a round about way told me they are uncomfortable that I might be listening to them fighting. Neighbors mentioned this more than once. I blew it off after the first time they mentioned listening while they were fighting because I told them I didn’t know they were fighting and that’s not what I was looking for. I haven’t installed the second cam in the front yet because I’m debating if it’s appropriate or not. (I really don’t care). Why I’m writing this is I would like to know people’s opinions about it. Is it over the top and or intrusive? So to clarify, I have a doorbell cam, one out my back window and would like to put another in the front facing the other direction. Should I care how the neighbors feel about it and is it obsessive while living in an apartment? Thanks for reading.
