A million dollars question about Humraahi

Damn, this is my third topic today😂😂 but I can't resist. I just a clip of this drama and I have a few questions

So Danish's character has a heart condition and will die without heart transplant. Hiba, his wife is a match. So as per this clip I saw, Danish's father will kill Hiba by strangling her. But if someone dies via strangling, heart will stop na? Heart can only be taken from someone who is brain dead. How will someone who is puri tarah dead via strangling can have a functioning heart? Help please!!

The relationship between Bilal and Emaan ft. Naqaab

I am in the mood to discuss Naqaab today because back when I watched it, I had no one to discuss it with😂

Anyways, to the fellow Naqaab lovers, when do you think Emaan fellnin love with Bilal? She hallucinated him a lot during the time she was studying but she also had flashbacks about Ahad during the time. So when did the love begin?

When a PTV actress pulled off something unconventional

Sajal cut her hair and Twitter went into meltdown mode😂 But this reminded me of Marina Khan. I don't think I have seen anyone pull off the haircut like Marina Khan. She carried it incredibly well and looked ultra graceful. No Idea how Sajal is gonna carry it since all we got was a pic

So what are the instances wherein you felt a PTV actress managed to pull of something different beautifully?

Also I need to rewatch Dhoop Kinare❤️

Understanding audience's love for abusive characters

Recommended feeds lead me to that Ghulam Badshah Sundari page and the comments made my head explode 🤯

There were so many comments about how The girl should love Badshah because he is the "real" man, so passionate and intense.

This got me thinking. Most of the ultra toxic, borderline abusive male characters have a huge support. Audience seems to think that a girl is obligated to fall for a man who fights everyone irrespective of her own feelings. Like there are literal fan pages for Humayun Ashraf's character in Naqaab.

It's like as long as the man appears "intense" and brooding type, audience is willing to forgive him for anything and everything. They actually badmouth the female character for not feeling the same way about him

This isn't something I see only in PTV. ITV had the same trend. Why? What's the psych behind this line of thought? I really want to understand especially since a lot of these comments are by women

Most of the actreses PTV has started with side roles or negative roles or roles in small channels and rose to the top.

This is true for most good actresses like Ayeza, Saba Qamar, Sajal. Like it took actresses considerable time to get prime time roles with good actors. Of course there are exceptions like Mahira but most of PTV actresses have similar trajectory.

And then there are actresses like Hina Afridi and Sahar. They got big banner projects right from the get go. How did they manage that? What's their secret? Networking? Connections?

Edit: Dananeer too got the prime time show right from the bat but then she got fame from the viral vid so I guess that helped her

edit: removed Hania from among the actresses who worked their way to the top in light of new information I hadn't considered. so Hania is in the category of Dure, Hina and Sahar who got prime time dramas with average acting skills. interestingly, all of them are white beauties so it could be pretty privilege
