Bro goals ft. Hamza and Danyal

This is quite a very to celebrate (for the lavk of a better word) getting 1M followers. I have to say, their friendship is refreshing amidst the fickle friendships and bonds that entertainment industry tends to have.

Also when is Hamza getting rid of this mooch?!! I absolutely despise it

Also if this constitutes low effort post, apologies😂

She's always there for him they are so peak.

I love the episode it was interesting and absolutely love the way she supported and console him. He's only vulnerable in front of her I hate how they have very few scenes together. That's not what I wait for an entire week. Hope they got more scenes in tomorrow's episode. I love when women console her men 🥹

I absolutely love them they are absolutely peak. Sajal looks so pretty.

Zanjeerain Episode 32

Looks like Sohrab Khan is in a pickle. He’s been threatened by Zafran, and Sarbuland finally got his suspicions confirmed. We also got to see the flashback of how Sohrab and Shireen got involved. Sarbuland is yet to do something about everything he has discovered. Torsum has seen the true face of his Mama. Excited for the next episode. It looks like Bhabi Noor is going to find out about the affair. Still, no sign of Torsum discovering Rabia, though.

More details about MDB

Mitti De Baway is revenge saga set in 80s/90s rural Punjab, with the intense love story of Iqbal and Bilqees. Sohail Ahmed is the main villain. SH has also clarified that Mahira isn’t the producer, only Multiverse Ent. is. Also I don’t think it’ll replace AMA because the teasers aren’t even out yet.

Honestly the premise sounds so so exciting and happening. I really hope the show lives up to its expectations 🤞🏻🍀

Green showing Hum how it's done. They gave Danny the accolades that Hum didn't 😝😝😝

I am referring to Hum not including Danyal in their 1B poster yesterday 😝😝

Two of our superstars (like em or not) with biggest hits and still not recognized by state while Shafat Ali is taking Tamgha e Imtiaz home for what ?

This is sad state for our country. Like them or not but these two ( also Hummayon ) are the reason of jo bhi hamari thori bohat film industry bachi hai. Mahira especially has represented Pakistan on international platforms and she has no honorary award from the state.

People may trivialize it, but this reflects how artist is respected in our country. What's the right time to honor them? when they pass their prime ? or when they die ?

And can somebody please enlighten me why is Syed Shafat Ali getting Tamgha e Imtiaz?

Double Standards towards our Actors

Nothing beats our awaam and their misplaced sense of optimism as well as self-centered moral standards.

We don’t actually care about morality. We just hate seeing our own people succeed.

If a Pakistani celebrity, (actresses especially) pushes the envelope, the comment section turns into an Inquisition. “Fahashi hai!"

Yet those exact same outrage addicts spend their nights binge-watching Bollywood, Turkish epics, and Netflix without batting an eye.

It was never about “fahashi.” It’s double-standard elitism. We forgive foreign media for everything, but weaponize piety against our own artists the second they step out of line.

Look at Iran. Under brutal restrictions, they didn’t waste time policing their artists. Rather they focused more on storytelling and cinematography. Now Iranian cinema wins Oscars and gets studied in Hollywood.

Meanwhile, our entire cultural discourse is trapped in a loop of Instagram/TikTok policing and outrage bait.

If you judge art by morality and compliance instead of script, direction, and performance, you don’t get culture. You get slop.

Rage baiting on another level 😖
What a Vile comment to do on a celeb insta post 😒 Nameer should just block him
If they are in relationship as well why would you comment like a creep.
The fact that this guy is still getting insights from the industry people is beyond me.

Okay seriously what is going on?

She only tagged and praised her as well this is kinda sus. I remember her calling yumna overrated once and saying mahira had bad work ethic also that story she told of some actress becoming successful through the wrong means now here she is

Loving their romance sm 🤍Bombay tailors has picked up like crazzzyyy this week

(Ik im a bit late and it’s a non airing day but anyway there were 0 posts abt this so i hope this post can be excused 🥺)

I love how real and natural their marraige progression feels.. there’s no unnecessary masle or sacrifices stuff, just two ppl who got married putting in their side of efforts to some extent, and their personalities just clicking!!

It kinda reminds me of early kmkt marriage episodes, with cutesy scenes and chemistry, glances, and I love just how FRESH their chemistry feels!! Tho it’s mahrukh taking the lead, I like how saife listens to her normally, and how she’s helping him discover himself it’s all just soo cute and nice to watch🥹🥹 🤍also love to see mahrukhs playful and excited side coming back! They def have started developing feelings for eo

Ali and Anika both are acting soo well here and hv such crackling chemistry!not to mention just how gorgeous they look

The beach scene was just sooo beautiful, after a long time some drama is making me want to experience romance😭

Also love how saife isn’t completely dumb and can join the dots to figure out the yt channel is run by mahrukh, and ofc he’s surprised and maybe upset, but more like he doesn’t know how to react or proceed.. im glad tho he’ll be back to normal next week and now navigate their lives knowing everything abt each other🥹

The side tracks are okayish,, the actors are acting well..Hira annoys me at times but I totally get her character, she gave her everything to the ppl in her life obediently and was the ideal child, yet mahrukh who was more of a rebel is getting more love and attention.. but I hope they don’t show it as a sister rivalry 🙏

And Adnan’s characters gave me hella creeps😭 tbh I don’t get why there hv to be sooo many tracks in Pakistani dramas, 2 behno ka kaafi tha 🙏

Overall, im enjoying it now! It’s a nice lighthearted romance watch.. I just hope it only rises from this point and focuses more on the couple

The lack of hero wala aura in current A-list Pakistani TV actors

The problem is apparent in actresses too but let's focus on actors today

I know there's no superstar culture in Pakistan per se. But still why is it that absolutely not a single current A list actor can be deemed worthy of the title. There's not a single actor who enters the screen and you go like han ye hero hai!!

Let's take a look at some of the highest paying Pakistani TV actors and what they offer

Danish Taimoor- naturally, we should be Starting with the king. His dramas often show him make a heroic entry. Slow mo shots, dhishoom dishoom and what not. Yet, when he enters, you feel like saying agaya phir larki uthane. You expect him to be a villain, not a hero

Bilal Abbas: he honestly could have been a strong contender but how can one take him seriously after his failed macho drunkard act in MZHT. His dancing scenes made him a walking meme tou aura canceled again

Wahaj: He was expected to lead the race after TB but then he did SMD and jitna aura bana tha, sab went down the train

Ahad: he has the looks but the moment he starts speaking in Urdu, aura goes into negatives. Also his acting in comedy sucks

Ahmed Ali Akbar: i expected great things from him post Parizad but man chose SWP post it so hero wala aura start hone se pehle hi ended

Hamza Ali Abbasi: he was initially not on the list since he seemed to have retired. But he is coming back in a drama opposite Hina Afridi tou ghanta aura

Ali Raza: man couldn't get beyond chati k baal.

There are some other A list actors too that I must have missed. I wanted to include Fawad but he has retired from Pakistan TV dramas since a decade.

At this point, Faran Tahir and Shahzad Nawaz have more aura than all the current A listers combined

Aik Mohabbat Aur… Is Farooq rind really the only one responsible for this disaster?

First of all Green should seriously stop promoting their drama as if they are about to deliver some Oscar-worthy masterpiece when the actual product is struggling to generate views, meaningful conversation or even consistent audience interest..

Atp Farooq rind also needs to step back and seriously rethink where things started going wrong. Almost a year of shooting and yet there is barely any impactful response. The editing feels choppy, the storytelling is confusing and in the initial episodes it was genuinely difficult to tell what was a flashback and what was happening in the present timeline. There are loopholes everywhere scenes feel rushed or skipped and important moments don't get the breathing space they need...

And no I don't think this is ONLY the director's fault..

A lot of people keep saying Ahad's script is good and If that's the case then I'm genuinely not convinced that he would sign a half-baked script after msm especially when that project was successful...Maya's script choices nothing to say after smd..

so something clearly isn't adding up..

If the script was genuinely strong on paper then where exactly is that strength on screen? why are there so many narrative gaps? why does the storytelling feel so disjointed? why are scenes being skipped or edited in a way that makes the audience work to understand what is happening?

You can't keep blaming the director every time the drama fails to connect with the audience. Direction matters obviously but the script is the foundation. If the foundation is weak no amount of aesthetic promotion or PR can magically turn it into a masterpiece..

Faiza can't keep shoving the flop onto the director alone. If we're going to discuss why this drama isn't working, then the script needs to be questioned too. Something is clearly wrong somewhere and pretending that it's only Farooq Rind's fault is way too convenient...
