Graduation gifts

Hello everyone! I’m in the process of buying graduation rings for both my son and daughter.

For my son, I’ve pretty much decided on the Love ring in white gold.

For my daughter, though, I’m torn between the Love ring in yellow gold and the Trinity ring. The thing is, I’m not completely sure what most 20-year-olds prefer these days 😅 She’s not extremely fashion-focused, but she does love jewellery and enjoys dressing up for special occasions. At the same time, she’s also perfectly happy in jeans and a black hoodie, which is why I’m struggling to choose the ring that would suit her best long-term.

So I’d love some advice from mums or daughters in their 20s:

  1. If you have the Trinity ring (or gifted it to your daughter), did she love it?
  2. If you’re in your 20s, would you personally prefer the Love ring or something else instead?

As this is a surprise gift, I won’t be asking her what she prefers 😆.

Thank you so much!

Since 5 a.m. this morning, I’ve been suffering from another flare-up of diverticulitis. My pain is around a 6–7 out of 10, with 10 being the worst. On another occasion, it reached a 9, and I had to be hospitalized and receive antibiotics. Fortunately, my partner is home today, and if things get worse, he’ll drive me to the hospital.

What scares me, though, is leaving the hospital with another week of antibiotics. I’ve just finished a course of antibiotics for something unrelated (a tick bite), and they caused a whole set of other issues.

Do you go to the hospital every time you have a flare-up, or do you usually stay home and wait for it to go away on its own?
