Coconut and passion fruit mousse & strawberry matcha tiramisu

I ordered both of these week. I opened up both tonight and ate some. Good stuff! It’s nice to have options like this. 😊

Classic beef stroganoff

This was my first time having this because I’ve always been put off by the calorie count. It was good. It’d been a long time since I’d had stroganoff and had forgotten it’s not very exciting, though…this is also a meal that’s very lacking in vegetables, other than the 4-5 peas in it, and of course, salad is risky right now. 😆

This was another CU box where the lining was coming off.

Hearty grain & egg bowl

I didn’t post this when I had it the other day. It was OK. Vegetables, quinoa (?)…pumpkin seeds, egg. It tasted fine but wasn’t exciting. Very healthy. I probably wouldn’t get it again, but I’m sure it was very dry good for me. ;)

Ribeye royale sandwich

This was my first time having this. I thought it looked weird, with not enough meat and loads of vegetables, some of which aren’t “sandwich” vegetables to me (green beans and carrots). But I put on all the dressing and piled it up, and by golly, it works. The flavors work. It’s not too little meat. It’s good! The only mildly odd thing is asking you to toast the bread when one side is like black, lol, but…yeah. It even held together, despite all the stuff in it, up until the last bite or so. I’ll totally get this again.

Sweet chili-glazed stuffed salmon

This was decent, but I’m not sure the stuffing part was the best. It’s described as including shrimp, but I found like one small one. Not sure I’d order it again. 🤷‍♀️

Ethiopian spiced chicken and egg

I thought this was pretty good. It’s basically chicken stew with chard, potato, and a hard-boiled egg. I thought the egg wasn’t there at first—the little yellow things are the egg, but I thought they were little lemon wedges. 😆

Pibil-style pork chop

This was my first time having this. The pork was a little spicy, but not too much. It was served with jicama (I assume?), mango, red onions, cilantro, and quite a bit of tortilla strips. Overall, it was a very nice combination of taste and texture. Not sure if the dish name is very useful, though?

Mediterranean salad and salmon

This is an enjoyable salad I’ve had several times now. The salmon isn’t usually broken in half like this. It always tastes slightly Asian to me, with the dressing, even though it’s Mediterranean. 🤷‍♀️

Caribbean pork stew

It was my first time having this. It was really tasty. It’s not too spicy, either, just nice. Big chunks of pork in gravy, rice and beans, and plantains. I did manage to forget the little cup of cabbage, though, and found it afterwards. D’oh. 🤦‍♀️
