RX 7600 driver keeps crashing/disconnecting when playing Valorant (Code 31)

Hi everyone, I need some help figuring out what’s happening with my GPU.

My PC specs:

AMD Radeon RX 7600

Windows 10/11

AMD Adrenalin drivers

Playing Valorant mostly

Problem: While playing Valorant, my screen suddenly goes black and the GPU seems to disconnect/crash. After restarting, Windows shows my RX 7600 with a yellow warning sign in Device Manager.

The error says: “This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)”

I also get an AMD Bug Report Tool popup saying: “AMD software detected that the display driver has failed to load on your system.”

Things I noticed:

This happened multiple times already

It seems to happen mostly with Valorant

The Witcher 3 was working fine after I installed an older AMD driver

Sometimes my area has unstable electricity/power outages, so I’m not sure if that could affect drivers or GPU stability

Temps were normal from what I saw before the crash

Things I already tried:

Installed older AMD drivers

Reinstalled drivers normally

Restarted PC

I’m planning to try DDU in Safe Mode next.

My questions:

Is this likely a driver issue or hardware issue?

Can Valorant/Vanguard cause AMD driver crashes like this?

Could unstable electricity damage or corrupt GPU drivers?

Has anyone with RX 7600 experienced similar black screen + Code 31 issues?

Any recommended stable AMD driver version for Valorant?

Any help would really be appreciated because I’m worried whether my GPU is failing or if this is just AMD driver instability.

Thanks.
