Do I get backpay? I filed for an extension with my doctor it's already been mailed out it's in the ten day period for them to scan my extension paperwork. My disability ended on June 12th my doctor told me I need 8-10 weeks of more healing. Do I get backpay from the date June 12th or do I not get paid the first 7 days again? When I first applied for the disability I didn't get paid the first 7 days does that happen again ?

Hi good afternoon my foot has been broken since April my doctor told me 8 more weeks on my recent appointment. And i already did my extension and everything for that. But my question is my temporary disability ends on the 12th of August I'm supposed to go back to work on the 1st of September or August 28th. I had to take summer leave due to my foot injury. And I'm asking if I'm allowed to apply for edd for those few weeks until I get back to work even though I just got off disability?
