Increased pain 7 days post-op subcutaneous transposition?

Increased pain 7 days post-op subcutaneous transposition?

Pain after surgery has been relatively mild. Next to no instructions were provided other than bandage off after two days. wiggle fingers, nothing over 10lbs. I have followed these instructions and at max I lifted three pounds.

Tonight for some reason my pain is horrible! Elbow feels like it’s on fire. The pain throbs kind of but at longer intervals. My hand is fine.

Was wondering if I should be concerned or is this just part of healing? No fever, puss, redness. Don’t think it’s infected.

Just had subcutaneous transposition yesterday!

Just had transposition surgery after a failed release surgery a little over a year ago. Doctor said there was a lot of scar tissue which probably caused my symptoms to come back.

Anyway, should I be moving my arm yet? Definitely a lot of swelling in my hand and arm. I have a soft bandage on. I’ve been opening and closing my fist, but no one mentioned anything about moving my arm. I can’t call and ask because it’s the weekend… Thanks in advance!
