Surgery braids for 5yr old
I braid this 5yr olds hair every now and then when she wants it doing and usually in a style she or her mum asks for. I don't have a lot of knowledge or experience but I do absolutely love doing it and seeing her big smile afterwards.
She's about to have surgery, which will take approximately 12 hours and then months of recovery afterwards. I'll be braiding her hair next week 2 days prior and obviously it needs to last as best as possible.
Is there an ideal style that will work best for hospital for a young child? We are thinking similar to pic 2, but tighter and smaller braids. I also need to purchase gel as I rarely use it (because its too slippery) and any aftercare products so any recommendations are welcome and greatly appreciated.
