Has anyone here adjusted their life in a significant way because of singularity concerns?

Basically, the title. I’m curious whether people here have decided to make big shifts in their lives because of it. It could be anything: increasing monthly spending, saving less for retirement, not having kids because of the singularity, or something else.

To be clear, this discussion is not meant to be about whether the singularity will or won’t happen, or whether people who think it will happen are mistaken. Please avoid arguing about that. I’m more interested in whether people are actually changing how they live.

Personally, I haven’t adjusted my life significantly because of the singularity, even though I think there’s a good chance it could happen very soon. I’m wondering whether that’s a mistake, and whether the right move is to be a little more aggressive about living for today, or making more radical changes to prepare for it.

POR-MIL-BOS

Milwaukee get all their picks/swaps back from Portland + 3 picks from Boston + Young talent in Shaedon Sharpe

Portland gets Brown

Boston gets Giannis

Another option is for Portland to send Jrue instead of Grant.

If The bulls are the Sacramento Kings of the east, and the Celtics are the Lakers of the east. Who are the East version of Blazers? I nominate the Hawks (Young and likeable team, Young Swiss army type all star, underachieving high draft picks, traded away a poor defensive guard they were relying on, kicked out in the first round of the playoff).

Who do you think it should be?

When playing against teams with 5 players who can shoot the three he basically becomes unplayable.

For example in the Spurs series Castle was just getting open threes every time he was on the floor, basically it means that open Castle 3 was a guaranteed worst case end of the clock shot the spurs always had available. That's just a huge boost to their offence, especially in the playoffs where the average shot quality is much lower.

DC is an elite player in many aspects but is it smart to have a franchise Center that can't be played against teams who have 5 Shooter lineups? Especially in the Modern NBA where many bigs can shoot now.
