I finally got around to adding a 17 inch PowerBook G4 to my collection, I never had one before or never seen one in person. But I got it from eBay at a good price. Overall it is in good cosmetic shape. But the Battery holds little charge, but it was to be expected, but I’m going to upgrade the ram and add an SSD to it, as it’s pretty slow at installing software and updates.
This my current Mac Mini setup with the Apple Studio Display.
I finally upgraded and repaired my damaged 20 inch iMac G4 that I got from a Goodwill auction. I replaced the display with one from a iMac G5. It’s more brighter and was a direct fit and plug & play. I added 1.5 GB of Ram, a 250GB SSD, upgraded to Leopard, I also added a Bluetooth Module and a Airport Extreme card. Replaced the PRAM battery, with new thermal paste. I replaced the bottom frosted base cover that was damaged/cracked from shipping, from an eBay seller that sells new genuine dead stock iMac G4 white frosted top and bottom base case covers with the metal Apple logo bottom plate. Also bought both a brand new Apple Pro keyboard and Wireless Apple Mouse (1st Gen clear plastic). As well as better condition Apple Pro speakers to complete the set up.
I have this Thunderbolt Display that I want to get rid of. I already have another one in the collection. And I'm limited in space as it is, But I rather this go to an Apple fan/collector that will appreciate it or use it instead of taking it to goodwill. I'm on the Southwest side of Chicago.

So I got this 20 inch iMac G4 from an auction I won on ShopGoodwill.com last year for $100 originally.
I'm barely getting around to finally restoring/upgrade it. But first off I'm going to be replacing the screen. I tried looking for a replacement 20 inch screens, but they are really hard to come by, I’m trying that iMac G5 screen. Since This screen has dark spots and the edges of the screen has that defect staining.
The base was damaged and broke the plastic during shipment from FedEx, (I was Refunded for the damage). so I ordered a replacement base. I will adding the AirPort Extreme and Bluetooth card as well, I'm going to upgrade the Ram and Storage, replacing PRAM Battery and a repaste. But I'm still debating if I Should update to Leopard or not. This will be a fun project.
