Capgemini Bench

Hi All,

I’m a Java Spring Boot developer in Capgemini with around 4.5 years of experience and B2 grade. I got released from my project around 2 weeks ago and have been on bench since then.
I wanted to understand from people who have experienced this recently:
How long can someone usually stay on bench in Capgemini?
How many internal interview chances are generally given?
Is 2 weeks on bench considered normal?
What happens if internal interviews don’t go well initially?
Does location/skill matter a lot for allocation?

How can we apply internally?
Can someone pls guide me

Project Allocation

I’m currently working at Capgemini and due to a project ramp-down, I’ll be getting released around 10th May.

I have around 4.5 years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices, and I’m actively looking for internal opportunities (preferably in Mumbai location).

If anyone is aware of openings in their project or can refer/guide me on how to get internal interviews faster, it would really help

Also, I’m a bit worried about the bench situation not sure how long it might take to get allocated to a new project. Any advice or similar experiences would be appreciated.

Pls help me I ll share my resume
