1-2 days shipping is a lie
One of the reasons I went with CarMax is what I thought would be “ease of doing business with them” but I am finding things said to be misleading and untrue. It’s been a few days now and no shipping update. I contacted the chat. They admitted that it was a lie. (“Skye -
The car has not shipped, so it is untrue as we are discovering in this chat.” And this was a human supposedly.) They have no firm expected shipping date still.
Not happy with customer service so far and wondering if I should cancel and go with the other big online agency.
Edit - people saying “shipping isn’t an exact science” and “it’s a big company you can’t expect them to know”. Really? It’s a big company so they must have shippers regularly moving cars and they should know where those shippers are. It’s not like they don’t have an interconnected website or anything.
