My dad saw the Pumpkins at Purdue University in Indiana on April 18th, 2000. I found a recording of the concert, audio only.
He’s told me MANY times that he has a distinct memory of Chamberlin leaving his kit and playing guitar with Billy and James for “1979”. Only problem is, I can’t find a single piece of evidence for Jimmy doing this anywhere.
The drums in the recording sound clean and sharp enough to be a drum machine passing for real drums, so it wouldn’t surprise me if that’s not really him. There’s a different introduction to the song too, so it makes me wonder that introduction was possible because there was a third guitarist, allowing James or Billy to play something different.

Can anybody help me confirm/deny my dad’s claims? He’s very very very sure that this happened and said that he can still vividly picture Jimmy walking out from behind his kit and joining James and Billy.

Only talking about bottom garments, regardless of what you wear for a top.

My girlfriend and I were talking about moving to the west coast (we live in Indiana), and the thought hit me. A drive that way is 3ish days non stop, probably more like 4 with the extra time. How does one realistically move so far away? Obviously a plane isn’t viable because the cost to move all of our belongings would probably be worth the same as the house, and a drive sounds so unrealistic. Do people really just drive for days on end? But do you do it multiple times to make sure that you get all of your stuff? (It would be really funny to be all settled in a remember that you forgot something at your parents house lol)
