Hey folks, first time posting here so hope I’m not breaking any rules. I bought a butt ton of redwood heartwood boards to repair an old fence.

Is this green/stuff rot? Is it anything to be concerned about? Do I need to treat it in any way before staining/sealing? Or are these unusable?

Probably dumb questions but I’d rather ask experts than google or ai nonsense.
