What are you MADS about?

No one seems to be curious about this old woman.

I thought she was part of the Kuja Pirate, who suffers from Love Sickeness, that's why she looks different now.

In the Chapter 1073

She was reintroduce as "Self-styled Scientist", and a "MADS freeloader".

  • Is this Why she got cloned?, as "freeloader test subject"
  • Is Weevil a "failed" clone of Edward Newgate?, MADS tried to create an "Evil" version of Whitebeard, W evil. Because Whitebeard according to Doflamingo: "just stood in front of the throne and took the reins," acting as a stabilizing force that kept the world in balance, and has no interest to be the King.

Was MADS trying to create the new Pirate King in form of Weevil, a clone of Whitebeard?

But still I don't see Miss Buckin, and Weevil importance to the story, was it just for laughs?... ah maybe.

I was just reading the Egg Head Arc once again in colors.

What's your favorite Sanji scene?

He was always so composed, and often thinking of strategies on how to defeat his opponent.

But then sometimes he got distracted with ladies, wait not sometimes but most the time rather, 😅

I'm just so excited for his next character power up for next chapters to come!!!!

Cuz right now Mr. All Blue Jimbei is the number three of the crew.

He needs to push himself to be the "San"-ji again of the crew.

CoC Haki Theory (Spoiler Beware)

Does having CoC only for the rare gifted at birth people?, or it can be "unlocked"?, Yes I think so now.

So reading back when Haki is first mentioned in the Chapter 570, In Garp's statement: "So you really were born with it".

  • Makes me think that Garp meant Luffy was born with CoC already "unlocked".

Then reading chapter 597 when Haki is first introduced before the timeskip by Rayleigh to train Luffy for two years: In Rayleigh's statement: "In very rare cases, some people are able to a manipulate a third form of haki."

  • In my understanding now, in rare cases strong people who developed the quality of a king will be able to "unlocked" CoC.

So the question is how to unlock it?

————— is the extreme willingness to protect everyone he cared for is enough to unlock conqueror's haki?.

Maybe?,  I don't know, but how did Zoro unlocked it?, he was trying to protect Luffy from Kaido, and he unleashed one of his powerful attack without a care for his own life, so was that it?, who knows.

Okay, so if it is, then it's good that Sanji is fighting the guy who brings out nightmares beings into life that can abduct multiple giant kids.

His skills will be tested to it's limit, and perhaps he will unlock it in this fight, because he's got a lot of giant kids to protect.

He couldn't be lagging behind, he needs to get stronger too, not goofier! fourth placer, he needs to level up to be the "San" again, right?

Funny after a thousand chapter, Luffy still follow his police! (I mean policy)

He even still wear his Sandals Kitetsu while wearing Elbaf shoes made by the rude Rodo.

He removed the shoes in order for him to use his trusted Flip Flops Meitō against Imu.

Eraserheads Documentary: Do you now all understand why they broke up?

Combo on the Run now on Netflix.

Ang nagustuhan ko lang is they all somewhat show why they hated one another, makes me want to hear more!

Si Marcus, is more on insecurities, and that it felt na he is "powerless" in the band, like his input and decision doesn't really matter, and others have to always help him out, from his forgotten guitar parts, to his personal issues in life. (that Buddy, and Ely spend more time in the studio to help him record, that Ely, and Raymund gave him advice with his Family problems, at sa ugali nya na dapat baguhin, that Buddy requested to replace him if he can't keep up)

si Raimund hindi na "aggressive" yung mga statement nya against Ely, respectful na sya in this documentary. I think he made peace with the past and move on, that's why successful naman yung Sandwich, at parang fam yung bandmates nya.

Si Buddy, I think lumabas yung resentment nya towards Ely from the past here sa interview, yung "blaming" ramdam talaga, but there's a self reflection naman na it wasn't Ely's entire fault according to him, that they let it all happened, hindi inalagaan ang isat-isa sa banda.

Si Ely naman, who always quiet, and prefer to suffer on his own in silence that he ended up with lots of reservation through the years: burst out that he felt he wasn't respected, that the three didn't really care about him, "cash cow" daw.

An ego clashing in the band, he felt pressured too with fans expectations put it all together you'll understand why he left the band, tapos the three went on to still use the "Eraserheads" name together with a new vocalist ramdam mo yung feeling of "betrayal" in Ely's statement. that's why all his music endeavors after are different sounding from the Eraserheads, gusto nya kumawala.

Marami pa siguro statement na hindi nasama which according to the director/producer, an hour long of interviews were "cut", statement na pinatanggal by their requests.

Pero gusto ko pa sila makitang magalit, yung straight to the point, not somewhat cryptic that you have to connect all together their statement from previous documentaries, and interviews in the past.

Road Bike: Brake Caliper Upgrade.

I just couldn't believe it that when I replaced the stock single action mechanical disc brake on my road bike with double action, a two piston pushing together to grip the rotor made a huge difference in braking power!

I almost bought cable actuated hydraulic brake which will cost me 2K to 3K.

I even think of replacing the stock STI with hydraulics a 14k to 20k upgrade.

But luckily a 600+ worth upgrade works!, with included adapters, I can even upgrade my rotor to 180mm.

The brake pad is even compatible with my MTB too, and it's easy to find it in any online shopping app, and guess what its cheaper compared to other brake pads. (B01S)

I am now confident to ride on long descent road!

A ride report post of an average guy!

Luffy vs Luffy!

When Luffy said at the Whole Cake Island against Cracker:

  • "I don't know any way to fight... other than serious!!!"

But then his devil fruit awakens!

I laugh so hard, when I remembered how he fights now on gear 5.

  • Fatten Kaido like a Toy Ballon.
  • Toying with Lucci (Charging on different path, with suprised punch is so funny, Lucci didn't bother to block it, ended up almost losing consciousness)
  • Flattening Kizaru and Saturn (That they become cartoon like paper thin)

From: "When he loses his smile, it's about to get real" To: "Always smiling, and laughing when he fights"

So what funny moves you enjoyed so much from watching, or reading how Luffy fights now?

Road Bike Brake Upgrade Plans.

After breaking in my Aero Road Bike, I can now experience it's true capabilities on the road.

Finally after 100+ Kilometers, the shift and brake cables naturally stretch and settle.

Hindi ko na kaylangan mag tune, and adjust after 20+ Kilometers ride. Smooth shifting na sya at aggressive in terms of speed, it's really noticeable compared to my 17 Kilograms MTB.

Pero mahina talaga yung brakes sa long descent roads, since it's a single piston mechanical brake caliper yung stock.

Current "Budget" Upgrades:

  • Rear Gravel Tire 700x32c: Improves comfort, and traction for me.
  • Metal Brake Pad: powerful Bite, and Stopping than Resin Pad.

So it's time to "test", a budget upgrade first:

  • Double Piston Mechanical Brake Caliper (₱212) + Floating Rotor Set (₱360): I purchased it from Shopee.

Then a much pricier upgrade later, ipon muna:

  • Juin Tech F1 Cable Actuated Double Piston Hydraulic Brake Caliper + Jagwire Compressionless Cable (₱5,000 to ₱9,000)

Do you have any suggestions what to choose right now in the market: brand, and model for flat mount Road/Gravel Bike.

Priority ko lang siguro:
• Dual Piston

Hindi talaga kasi kaya ng stock mechanical disc brake and mga long descent na kalsada.

In your experience, ano yung maganda talaga Cable actuated hydraulic brake caliper upgrade nyo?
