Anyone agree that the explosive weapons are very weak in Stalker 2?
I was playing the mission that has you go after all the electronic collars for that scientist, and I knew from previous playthroughs that I'd have to fight a pseudogiant. So I brought my RPG. It took THREE rockets, all direct hits, to take that thing down. Why are the explosive weapons so fucking weak? I'm including the GL's in this, more so because they have such a pitiful range that damaging yourself in the blast is a very real possibility. In CoP, it took ONE rocket to kill a pseudogiant.
I'm not arguing from a realism perspective here. It's mainly about immersion. Its a fucking rocket launcher, literally designed to penetrate what, 30cm of steel armor? I'm sorry, but no living creature, no matter how mutated and how thick its skin, bones and muscles are, is surviving even one direct hit with that. Let alone three.
The explosive weapons need a SERIOUS buff. The RPG in terms of damage, the GL's mainly in terms of range, but also in terms of damage. A chimera shouldnt be able to shrug off several direct hits of a 40mm grenade either.
