This is the only way it should've gone with this album.
I'm a fairly casual Periphery listener. Nonetheless, I enjoyed APWD so much that I've been cycling through the same several songs from it all day, and the closer is probably my favorite track I've heard all year. So I went on Reddit to let everyone know how much I loved the new album and defend the shit out of it, just to see what? A civilized discussion? People sharing their personal stories? Fans supporting every decision the band made on the album? Rare people who didn't enjoy APWD yet were still happy for those who did? One guy sharing his poop habits??
It's actually so nice to see people genuinely engaging with the discussion of an album so heavily centered around loneliness, as I finally got truly touched by this band as well. Hope you all found at least one special track for yourselves.
