Google message app broken
I have a Google pixel 7 pro and for the past 2 weeks I haven't been able to use my message app to text or send anything. My glitch is awfully weird, it says to insert sim card to continue but I have a physical sim card and my phone recognizes that it's there. I can make and receive phone calls and I can receive messages but I cannot send them UNLESS I respond in the notification bubble.
There is obviously some software glitch that's making my phone not work in the message app.
Has anyone else dealt with something similar? I've seen others be able to restart their phones and take out the sim and boom problem solved. Not for me. I've tried absolutely everything. I've even uninstalled all the sim data off my phone, put it in fresh and it still says to insert sim to access messages
