Bond No. 9- I Love New York For All

Fun Fact: First Introduced in 2011 and discontinued in 2016 over licensing/branding agreements for using the “I ❤️ NY” logo ended. BUT This was fragrance was an official collaboration with the state of New York!

This was gifted to me by my old boss who is a dear friend of mine. I’m extremely proud to own it and I recently learned how rare this bottle was!!

This smells smoothly blended chocolatey and milky. Deep and rich scent. Has been slightly reformulated and the scent can be found in the rebranded “New Bond St” bottle. Smells incredible. IMO more masculine than feminine but could be unisex. If you ever get your hands on this version though it performs like a bomb!!!

I hear Iris may turn some people off which is understandable but I don’t know how you can’t like this fragrance. I think if a niche designer like PDM released this it would be getting the hype it deserves.

Givenchy Gentlemen Reserve Privee is fantastic and extremely well crafted. It’s warm, sexy and seductive, masculine, great performance, and addicting😵‍💫. This is not for a 16 year old. This is a 25+ fragrance. I’m 20 and I could pull it off easy though.

It opens up with that Iris and Bergamot pretty boldly but after a few minutes you can clearly start to smell whisky in the back which adds a nice contrast to balance out the Iris from making this smell too powdery. With both it makes this fragrance not overly sweet nor overly powdery.

Eventually you can smell the chestnut and base notes like woods and amber.

This shines more in the winter/fall and/or at night time. You can wear this to upscale bars, dinners, or black tie events. I go to red carpet events in New York during fashion week and I will definitely be giving this a try at an after party maybe.

This fragrances changes over time but not too much to where it smells nothing like the opening. It takes you on a nice ride through the motions.

I rate this to start, an 8.5/10. Was a must buy for me but maybe not for everyone but 100% most definitely a must try. Amazing fragrance. And I found it for $65 at discounters.
