My collection so far and might be done for a while till I actually use up a good amount!

Feel free to ask me anything!

The list:

PDM Sedley: Great summer freshie that lasts forever on my skin. Opens up like diet sprite and dries down into a very clean soap. Something like dove soap.

PDM Perseus: Not the biggest fan of this one. Very very bitter to my nose.

PDM Layton: Newer batch or just cause of my skin chemistry but doesn’t last on me at all. Loveeee the scent profile though. Really try and not to smell Vicks buttttt I dot get a whiff of it and I just smile.

PDM Herod: Amazing fragrance one of my faves. Doesn’t project but does last a good amount of time close to my skin. So I just sniff my wrists a lot. A sweet tobacco. But to me it doesn’t even smell like traditional tobacco but more of like a clean sweet smoke.

Nishane Wulong Cha: Great floral and tea combo! Very relaxing.

Nishane Fan Your Flames: BEAST MODE. Didn’t like it at first but grew one me. VERY HEAVY Booze! Straight smells like a jazz club.

Nishane Ani: Burnt Marshmallows. Great gourmand.

Sospiro Vibrato: Fizzy grapefruit drink. Really addicting scent profile that tickles my nose. Worth the hype.

Prada L Homme: Straight up smells like a make up bag. Not bad. I wear to the office.

Initio Rehab: Intoxicating scent profile that is great for all seasons in my opinion. Stays closer to the skin and doesn’t project much. Very woody.

Byredo Bal D’Afrique: Musky clean linen. Better on clothes for me. Doesn’t last long on skin.

Azzaro the most wanted parfum: Like this better than SWYI cause of the grape soda like opening.

SWYI: Don’t reach for this one much.

LV Imagination: Because of this, I have been obsessed with tea scent over since. My favorite out of all my collection and I always make sure I smell the cap almost everyday. It’s that good!

Today's Fantastic finds at Ross

I've been hunting for versatile, year round fragrances that open with bright citrus or woods and dry down into a solid leather(literally on Scircle.ai looking for something like these two yesterday and decided to wait) These two absolutely nailed it. Both project really well and give off a classy but modern vibe. They also smell way above their price point. Very high quality and not synthetic at all, at least to me.

Banana Republic Midnight Hour

Opens with a really fresh mango and ginger kick before settling into a rich leather and oud base. Super versatile and an easy grab for hitting a taproom or catching a live show, which I do often, yet clean enough and non offensive for me at work also

Salvatore Ferragamo Intense Leather

The mandarin orange opening is fantastic and it drying down into a solid earthy, high quality Italian sports car leather and oakmoss. Feels super solid and well thought out and is perfect for overcast PNW days, but still fresh enough for the office.

I honestly would wear both even in high heat of summer without question. Highly recommend for other leatherheads.

Quick trip to Colorado

Heading around Colorado Springs/Glenwood Springs/Alamosa. Picked out some fragrances that might set the mood for our trip. Maison Crivelli - Oud Maracuja, Liis - Bo, and Ineke - Field Notes from Paris. Adding Cerave mineral sunscreen before applying.

What’s your special occasion fragrance?

Saffron Secret reminds me of a good black suit. Other fragrances I’ve been reaching for special occasions are Nasomatto-Pardon, OSM extrait & Guerlain VP

Looking for Signature Scent that works in extremely hot, humid weather (FL)

Hi everyone, I’ve been on the hunt for a signature scent for the extremely hot weather here in FL, but I’m having trouble finding exactly what I’m looking for.

I want a fresh scent that’s not too sweet, but still definitely has some fruits/citrus, as well as some cool refreshing notes similar to a Y Iced Cologne (I find that to be too sweet). I work in a retail environment so it needs to be fairly mass appealing, and ideally a designer, cheaper niche, or a budget ME fragrance.

Ideally I don’t want to spend more than $150

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Bought CDNIM Limited Edition after 4 months of waiting on my Pure Parfum to perform — good call?

So I picked up my Club de Nuit Intense Man Pure Parfum back in late February this year, and it’s now been a solid 4 months of letting it sit and mature. Problem is, it’s still just not showing up the way I expected. Projection is weak, longevity is nowhere close to what people rave about, and at this point I’m genuinely unsure if it needs even more time or if I just got an off batch.

I love this DNA so much that I honestly couldn’t keep waiting around disappointed every time I sprayed it. So instead of losing more time, I went ahead and picked up the Limited Edition version to actually enjoy the scent I love while the PP keeps resting in the back of my collection to (hopefully) mature further.

Figured this way I’m not wasting the fragrance by spraying it before it’s ready, and I still get to enjoy the CDNIM line properly in the meantime with the LE.

Has anyone else had a PP take longer than 4 months to actually open up? Did it eventually turn a corner for you, or should I be worried I got a bad batch? Would love to hear from people who’ve dealt with this.

Looking for a versatile niche summer scent.

I tried MFK GFS and loved it but I feel like I can do better, I find vibrato/imagination a bit too basic. Ganymede is brilliant but I have Bois imperial and both feel a bit too sharp for Dubai heat. I need something masculine and unique that projects and lasts well but it’s too cloying for an office scent. I want something luxurious but still feels fresh and clean. Any recommendations?

Not lying

So I was scrolling along late night and this bottle pops up and without even giving it a second thought boom I ordered it, and man this guy was not lying its so freaking good, its caramelized sugar, pineapple , light cinnamon, toasted coconut, this mofo is out of bounds and nothing I would usually look for im always looking for a fresh scent, but this is down right addicting. Kind of like if br 540 met viw, and baked a pineapple upside down cake together. Its interesting, its delicious, its it.

Underrated Gem

Slowly rebuilding my Amouage collection after a crazy ex destroyed everything. Still one of the most unique fragrances I've smelled to this day. Hopefully Amouage will bring it back one day. Can't wait to start wearing this.

What’s a non mainstream fragrance you consider 10/10?

The one in the photo is very unique. Black tea forward fragrance with some leather, rose and strawberry. It’s very fruity and floral. The leather isn’t over bearing but as it drys down it’s very soft. This fragrance smells like spring in a bottle

banger fougere fragrance.

similar to creed’s bois du portugal. longevity is very nice and projection is nicely moderate, leaves a nice scent bubble around.

works well in various seasons, smells like some classy grown man shit. highly recommend

GOS - Wildcard vs Mykonos - California Signature (Bond No.9 - Lafayette St inspirations)

I love Bond No. 9 - Lafayette st so I picked up Games of Spades - Wildcard and Mykonos - California Signature. In my opinion, Wildcard is stronger, very masculine and projects more whereas California Signature (weird name in my opinion since it's an inspiration of a NYC scent) is smoother, creamier, less strong and more unisex.

GOS Wildcard:
-in my opinion, it's closer to Bond No.9 Lafayette st. And great value saving you hundreds. It lasts a good six hours for me and protects for 2-3hrs (I am not an over sprayer). It can be worn all seasons and occasions such as date night or even special events like a wedding or even everyday scent and office scent.

Mykonos California Signature:
-very smooth and creamy. It's probably 85% of Bond No.9 Lafayette st whereas Wildcard is 95% in my opinion. Because it's so smooth and creamy it leans more unisex than Wildcard to me. It's also not as strong as Wildcard which makes it even more safe for the office and everyday/every occasion scent. This is not a 1:1 and they are not trying to be 1:1 whereas Wildcard wants to be 1:1.

The big question, which one is better? I'd say GOS Wildcard is slightly better but Mykonos California Dream is not far off and can hold its own. The price for both are about similar give or take $10. Both are EDPs so they last long and project but Wildcard is stronger and projects more.
