I buy/sell/trade often and try to stay around 50 bottles so its time to down size but other than a few I don't wanna let anyrhing go.
The last picture is my amateur work station. Ive been working on an orange vanilla lacquer scent, its enjoyable but expensive and unsuccessful.

Looking for mature, classic, masculine scents that aren't easily recognized everywhere you go. I like Terre d'hermes. Anything else I can try?
Been doing a decent amount of sampling lately, and a lot of fragrances that have stood out to me have prominent saffron notes when I look them up later. I almost blind bought Crystal Saffron from Matiere Premiere because I like most of the line already and the notes looked good. However, was out and about yesterday and got to smell both the EDP and the Extrait, and my nose did not love it. So wondering if everybody here might have other top picks for saffron-forward scents?

Xerjoff - 40 Knots
Extremely airy with incredible movement. Salty air, warm spicy woods, followed by some powdery softness and ta touch of amber. To me it feels like sitting barefoot on the teak wooden deck of a yacht, feeling that breeze from the ocean whip across the deck. It’s the calming “no urgency” effect that won me over when I smelled it. And on days off it puts me directly in that mind set. I’ve got no where to be, and that’s ok with me.
Costa Azzurra Parfum is exactly the kind of scent I reach for when I need a little escape—it gives me that warm, salty, carefree feeling of being somewhere by the Mediterranean, even when I’m nowhere near the coast. And on a rainy, dreary day like today, it honestly feels like a cure: a few sprays and suddenly I’m in my own little summer vacation.
I got 4 full bottles and will be buying grand soir after loving it from my tester, but I’m thinking about getting one more and then calling it for a while.
As you can probably tell from my small collection, I don’t have the most sophisticated taste and mainly lean towards mass appealing.
I think what I’m looking for is a sort of dumb reach frag that’s mainly good for moderate temperatures. I usually think about buying from a climate standpoint. I got winter and summer covered here.
Now I guess I could run vibrato and Torino 21 in spring and the other 3 in the fall, but I’m not sure how suitable exactly that would be. Maybe something like a BDC could be a good daily/moderate temperature reach? I’m not too sure, but wanted to see what you guys thought.
One of my favorite fragrances in my collection. Reminds me of a fresh ocean breeze on a chilly spring morning. Airy, oceanic, unique and beautiful. Only complaint I have is that the performance isn’t as strong as I’d prefer but the scent is top tier in my opinion. What are your thoughts on this?
I’m curious to see what people think about this, I’ve seen a lot of people post they love it or they hate it and smells nothing like Tygar EDP.
What’s your experience with this one? Is it the best masculine leaning ginger fragrance disregarding price?
Everyone talks about Vibrato, but rarely see this in people's collections, this is going straight into my fall/winter rotation. It starts off fruity and boozy with notes of blackcurrant, amaretto and rum, with a mid of amber, patchouli and sandalwood on a base of benzoin, labdanum and vanilla. Very cosy and comforting scent but performs very well, could still smell it the next day. Not really work safe tbh, but if you limited the sprays to 1-2 you could get away with it. Anyone else had their nose on this? What were your thoughts? Any others beside Vibrato/Basso from Sospiro you recommend?
