Costa Azzurra Parfum is exactly the kind of scent I reach for when I need a little escape—it gives me that warm, salty, carefree feeling of being somewhere by the Mediterranean, even when I’m nowhere near the coast. And on a rainy, dreary day like today, it honestly feels like a cure: a few sprays and suddenly I’m in my own little summer vacation.
Xerjoff - 40 Knots
Extremely airy with incredible movement. Salty air, warm spicy woods, followed by some powdery softness and ta touch of amber. To me it feels like sitting barefoot on the teak wooden deck of a yacht, feeling that breeze from the ocean whip across the deck. It’s the calming “no urgency” effect that won me over when I smelled it. And on days off it puts me directly in that mind set. I’ve got no where to be, and that’s ok with me.
I imagine sitting in a dark lounge with polished woods, a vase of roses nearby, worn leather chairs around and a hint of saffron floating in the air. The Oud is not overpowering in this one, which is nice bc it can be quite decisive in other similar fragrances. The dry down is magical and just shows off the perfectly balanced notes. This is a top shelf’r in my collection for sure!
Amouage- Reflection Man
When I wear it, I imagine “So Fresh, So Clean by Outkast playing in the background. It’s clean, creamy, fresh, and effortlessly classy without trying too hard. I don’t believe it’s truly a fougére per se, but I definitely get Fougére vibes from it.
After years and years of waiting, Jomashop finally came through with the shipping of my baby. Seriously though, I feel like it would’ve been delivered sooner if Forest Gump had ran it here on foot.
One of my favorite scents and I believe the first of my collection. Sandalwood has always presented itself as a calming masculine wood to me. It has that perfect balance of warmth and freshness, making it versatile enough for the office but polished enough for a night out. Sophisticated, masculine, and quietly expensive without ever trying too hard.
This is one of those freshies where the woods are clearly the star of the show, and that’s exactly what makes it work for me. It still gives me that clean, fresh feeling I want, but there’s enough depth and smoothness underneath to make it feel grown-up, polished, and genuinely sophisticated rather than just another blue fragrance.

LeSablier Zeus Extrait I’ve received compliments from strangers the last 4 times I’ve worn it. Today’s compliment came 7 hours application.
Gave some away to family and sold some others that I didn’t like on skin. But I think I got the collection dialed in. Now if my Amouage Reflection will ever show up! I’m looking at you Jomashop!!
