1 month collection

This is my last one month perfume buys, everyone is a blind buy and I am buying all these according to youtube suggestions. Fragrance I bought varies from 300 to 5000 last. All are in the maceration period. IDK whether it's good or not cause I didn't like the first expression of max. Fragrances.

Mykonos slow living, fresh out from laundry

Bought slow living recently, though idk when the brand will launch and prices will get reduced. Got this in hype though its a pretty simple frag , clean citrusy smells like clothes came straight from laundry . Because of the prominent Neroli note in this. Citrusy, floral indeed a safe scent if you like that laundry or new clothes smell. Issue with it is its lasting projects for like 30-40 mins and lasts like 2-3 hrs onlyy , twist of neroli portofino by TF.

2 things more needed and it would have been perfect.

  1. 100 ML bottle at the right price sub 2500

  2. longevity is a lil less

What do y’all think of Cool Water Parfum?

I can’t find it anywhere to get a whiff of it, nor can I find small decants k ok f it. What’s it like? Overall:is it it more substantial that the OG. As in, less “used up cologne” type smell…?

New addition and current collection

Hi all, I have blind bought a bunch of ME perfumes over a span of 2-3 months. Some of them absolutely horrible (waiting for them to macerate), some absolute gems. I have segregated them based on the seasons. Primarily two major ones - Summers and Winters.

Just gonna give a brief review of the new additions

For Winters - I ordered the following:

  1. Oud Madness: Oh my god! Never expected, neither smelled anything like this before. Opening was rubber mixed with leather. As i gave it time to dry down, i could smell something fruity in the background. Very light but it was there. I’m not losing my hope on this one. Will give it time in the dark till the season arrives.
  2. Black Fume: Amazing oud, roses, and fruity smell. Love this one. Solid 8/10
  3. French Avenue Haydan: This has a very green plus spicy touch to it. Definitely gonna get compliments in the winters. Solid 8.5/10
  4. Liam Grey: Initial opening very synthetic. But as it dries down, it becomes very likeable. Prominent notes of fig and cardamom. 7/10
  5. ighra’a: Initial spray very pungent. Dries down sweet caramel. But very different from elixir. 6 for now.

For Summers - I ordered the following:

  1. Porto Neroli: Very light, heavy on neroli smell. Still need to get used to it. 7/10. Nothing complex though. Very linear.

  2. Arsh: Very citrusy fresh smell with a hint of almond in the background. Absolutely love it. 10/10

  3. Supremacy CE: Got it after all the hype. But not a big fan. Smells very generic pineapple. Smoky pineapple notes. 7/10

  4. Mykonos Slow Living: Very different smell. Very light on skin. Linen sheets like smell. 8/10

  5. Safari Breeze: very guava heavy smell. Initial sprays synthetic, dry down is amazing. Loving it. 9/10

  6. Emir Celestial: Honestly, i never smelled anything like this in my life. This shouldn’t even be called a perfume. This is just new car seat smell with a hint of metal. I’m just trying to understand this smell. It doesn’t even change during the course. 4/10

  7. Citrine: prominent ginger lemon smell with a twist of mint. Dry down is musky. Compliment getter. 10/10

  8. Kaaf: BANGER! What a smell! This is such a compliment getter. 10/10. Very different smell, musky, fruity, oud in a good way.

Also posted a picture of my current collection that is a mix of ME and designers.
Happy to discuss further in comments.

Skinn Amalfi Riviera

This was pretty much a blind buy for me. There isn’t a whole lot about Amalfi Riviera on Reddit/YT/Insta and there were only 3 reviews on Amazon, but I’ve loved most of the Skinn fragrances I’ve tried so far, and this was going for 20% off, so I thought, why not?

Well… I think I’m officially in love with it.

I ordered the first bottle and literally after the first sniff, ordered a second one. Got both for ₹2,330 ₹2340 each, which honestly feels like an absolute steal.

That icy ginger opening is just so damn good. Fresh, crisp and addictive. I keep catching myself sniffing my wrist throughout the day because I just can’t get enough of it.

And the longevity? Absolutely bonkers. Projection is probably mid, but this thing just refuses to disappear. This is the only fragrance I’ve tried so far that has actually managed to beat Afnan SNOI for me in terms of longevity.

Fresh scent profile, incredible longevity and at for the price I got it, it’s an absolute bang for the buck. I can easily see myself keeping it in my collection for a long, long time.

Naseem Carmine changed drastically after 3 months. Is my bottle defective?

I need some help from people who have experience with Naseem Carmine attar.

I bought a 15 ml bottle on 29 May 2026. When I first opened it, I absolutely loved it. It had a strong BR540-like sweet/burnt-sugar + saffron/amber character, good projection, and a noticeable dry-down. It smelled almost exactly like the Carmine I had read about in reviews.

But after around 3 months, something has changed drastically.

The fragrance I have now is nothing like what I originally smelled.

Current situation

Bottle: Naseem Carmine 15 ml

Purchased: 29 May 2026

Around 11–12 ml is still remaining

Stored in a closed wooden cupboard

Room stays relatively cool and is AC-cooled at night

No direct sunlight

Colour of the oil looks the same

No cloudiness or visible contamination

No obvious rancid/sour/metallic smell

But the performance and smell have changed massively.

I recently did a small test with one drop on tissue:

0 minutes: Very faint Carmine smell, only noticeable when smelling extremely close.

15 minutes: Almost completely gone. Only a very faint smell when putting my nose right next to it.

30 minutes: Still extremely faint, mostly floral/jasmine. Again, only detectable from around 1 cm away.

On skin, the faint smell seems to last only around 15 minutes.

The biggest thing is that it has lost the sweet, saffron, amber/BR540-like character that made me love Carmine in the first place.

At first I thought I had simply gone nose-blind to it, but I asked multiple people who had smelled the same bottle when it was new, and they also noticed that the fragrance now smells significantly different and much weaker.

I know fragrance perception is subjective, so I'm not claiming that it must be oxidation or anything specific. I'm trying to understand what could have happened.

What do you guys think?

Could this be:

oxidation?

some kind of formulation/batch issue?

something caused by the bottle itself?

normal aging/maturation, even though the change is this extreme?

or something else I'm overlooking?

And most importantly, is there anything I can safely do to restore the original smell/performance?

I don't want to add anything, heat it, leave it open, etc. without knowing what I'm doing.

I still have almost the entire bottle, so I'd really like to save it if possible.

Any advice from people who own Carmine or have experience with attars/perfume oils would be appreciated.

Ajmal Oud mukhallat- for the love of Indian perfumery

Only read this review if you are into traditional perfumery, first of all very beautiful glass bottle gives that rainbow effect , bought this from myntra for around 1.5k after offers. 6ML attar in the bottle. So mukhallat basically means “mixing”. So this one is basically a mix of oud and Indian spices and rose . specially “saunf” this smells like saunf and merthi supaari with a very light oud note this is not at all a skanky or animalic oud it also has florals and Indian spices such as saffron but majorly that “saunf” smell is very prominent. Also this comes with a dipstick not a roll on

Lasting is around 3-4 hrs on skin and easily 7-8 hrs on fabric , more on winter wear.

Thanks for reading guys❤️

I GET IT NOW

Late but these 2 colognes are all over TikTok and YT so I got curious and blind bought it. Glazed and hyped so much by influencers and I see (smell) why.

I like Afnan SCE more than Hawas Ice because it’s more leaning masculine over the Hawas. Hawas is really nice too and playful because of the bubblegum-y scent. IMO what smells good and/or great is very subjective but I’d say these two are really good and would say safe. I am no expert in fragrances just an average consumer that wants to smell good.

I just sprayed my left arm w sce and right with hawas. We’ll see if the performance is what they say it is.

Help me spend 5k: Is Liquid Brun + ME perfume the right move, or should I re-route based on my current collection?

Budget: ₹5000

Age: 26 years old

Gender: Male

Hey guys, looking for some advice from the community on my next purchase.

Here is what I currently have on my shelf:

Ajmal Ahlam (100 ml)

Ajmal Wisal Dahab (100 ml)

Ajmal Oud of Dubai (100 ml)

Arabian Aroma Old Money Elixir (50 ml)

Nyud's Sacred Vanilla 69 (80 ml)

Beardo Godfather (100 ml)

Beardo Divine Oud (80 ml)

Skinn Raw (20 ml)

House of Moksha Scotch and a Smoke (50 ml)

Em5 Constant (50 ml)

Engage Brazilian Maracuja (50 ml)

Blabliblu By the Beach (100 ml)

Sakar Regal (100 ml) ignore please 🙈

The Dilemma & Budget (5,000)

I'm strongly considering grabbing French Avenue Liquid Brun (\~2,900). That leaves me with roughly ₹2,100 to pick up a second Middle Eastern (ME) fragrance.

What do you guys recommend?

  1. Is Liquid Brun worth it given I already have Sacred Vanilla & Scotch and a Smoke?

  2. If I stick with Liquid Brun, what's the absolute best ₹2k ME freshie/versatile pick to pair with it?

  3. Should I skip the two-bottle idea entirely and go for something else in 5k budget (maybe a singular bottle or multiple bottles)

My Humble Collection

How much would you rate my collection out of 10? Any suggestions for what I should get next?

u/Primary_Wash4263 — 4 days ago

i'm wearing 1 million black and I'm loving it. I think I will be getting the full bottle around october time when it cools down.

That pineapple and vanilla combination hitting but on my skin I'm mostly getting the pineapple note. it smells different from the other 1 million flankers.

Which of these 3 iterations of Nautica voyage is the best?

Voyage (OG), Voyage intense, Voyage Sport.

Sillage, longevity, scent quality, and all other things considered, which of the Voyage iterations is the best? But mainly go by which one smells the best.

Ahmed al maghribi Rose Noir ~ definitely feminine !!

Very feminine fragrance if i had to describe this in one line think of rose with foundation (makeup) powdery, slightly sweet and floral, to be specific white florals like jasmine also dries down into white musk . Its not unisex some creator wears saying its unisex but for me its very feminine. Got it for a good price

Performance is decent not on ahmed al maghribi’s standard but decent enough . 6 + hrs on clothes and 4 hrs on skin though projection for the first hour is very strong.

7.5/10 for me
