Is Payday 3 worth it without DLCs in 2026? + My concerns.
I used to play Payday 2 a lot, and to this day remains one of my favorite games ever. With Payday 3 launch, i did have somewhat a bit of fun playing it on gamepass, however, the game couldn't keep me because of how the solo experience felt a bit and for other factors, i also couldn't return to PD2 because the gunplay on the third felt really good, so it was weird to come back for the second one gameplay.
It's been some years, and the base game is currently in discount (BRL$44) + price reduction, and i've been for a time interested in picking it up (especially now that i'm looking for a game to get 'addicted' (especially an actively supported/live-service horde shooter with progression (i've been especially considering Space Marine 2 & World War Z).
However, i do have some concerns regarding the games health and overall enjoyment: how's the game currently without DLCs? Is the game being properly supported (do you see it still being updated in two years for example)? How's active the playerbase, LFG & matchmaking (especially in South America and LATAM overall)? Is the solo experience any good?
