The Corksniffer and The Workingman - a tale of two pedalboards

Like a lot of players, I have two wolves inside me. One of them wants a big space station board. The other says "gimme a frickin tuner and a Rat and let me just rock out." Because of that, my board has been in a constant cycle of expansion and contraction over the years.

So this is my mind-blowingly brilliant solution - TWO boards 😵 I know, I know. I'm a genius. No please, I don't need a standing ovation. OK, maybe just a small one.

THE CORKSNIFFER TC Polytune Mini > Walrus Mira compressor (always on) > Boss ES-5, Loop 1: Wampler Terraform multi-modulation, Loop 2: Keeley Katana clean boost, Loop 3: Science Mother preamp and Pigtronix noise gate (under the board), Loop 4: Catalinbread Belle Epoch analog delay, Loop 5: Earthquaker Silos delay, ES-5 out > Earthquaker Afterneath > MXR 10 band EQ > amp FX return

THE WORKINGMAN Boss MS-3 does all the modulation, delay, and switching. Saturnworks pedals trigger various things inside the MS-3, depending on the patch, Loop 1: Boss DS-1, Loop 2: nothing, so Gumby has room to stand there and look sassy 💅 Loop 3: Boss Metal Zone, simple dog modded, set up as a preamp, MS-3 out > amp FX return

Both boards do the same thing - give me all the sounds I need for my band - in two different ways, scratching two different itches. The Corksniffer is going to stay mostly at home/in the practice space/studio to be used for inspiration and songwriting, and only come out to the occasional local gig if I'm feeling fancy. The Workingman is going to mostly be used live.

If my hypothesis is correct, I will now be completely satisfied, and I'll never buy another pedal or re-do my pedal setup ever again 🌈😃
